I've just come back from Labedy after sleeping there 2 nights - last year the one half of hotel was during renovation, now it's finished. The car parking next to hotel got optimized so now it's much easier to find Yourself a parking spot, the whole entrance was renovated so it welcomes You even warmer :). Breakfasts are still tasty for the price, the restaurant is open until 10p.m. and You can find there something hot, cheap but tasteful (zurek or schabowy), the toilet and shower in the room are clean, the furnitures are simple, there's an analog TV in room, You can use the hotel's WiFi network free of charge and the most important thing - the price still remains unchanged: a standard single room with breakfast will cost You only 102PLN (~23EUR). I stayed there 2 times (year by year, 4 nights total) during business trips. I was looking for some cheap place to sleep and Labedy Hotel gave me exactly what I needed. A room (not perfectly clean but let's face it - for 20EUR it will not shine), a bed, a bathroom and breakfast. I checked in late and there was no issue with it - payment by credit card was accepted, also no problem with the invoice. The restaurant is small but offers hot meals that everybody can afford (~3-5EUR) and they are even tasty. If You want to have just a place to get some rest but You don't care about the stars - Labedy will fit Your needs. Stayed here for 4 Nights as Visiting a Friend who lived locally.About 45 mins from Katowice Airport,30 mins from centre of Gliwice.Local Train Station and Bus Stop,5 min walk. Room was fine,Tidy,Bed comfortable,Shower,No Bath,what you would expect for price.Small restaurant,Usual European Breakfast.Varied local Dishes in Evening,Although did not eat here.No shops or takeaways nearby if you have the munchies at nightime.The staff spoke little English but were polite.6 Zloty for a beer which is Cheap!!!
