Wonderful and relaxing place that is completely destroyed by rude reception staff and customer unfriendly rules in addition to cheap interior details. We had a business function here. Even though there is nothing to do in the hotel or around areas but to relax in the spa, the spa was opened from 10 till 12 and then from 18 till 21 in the evening only. When I asked what the reasons were why I couldn't swim before breakfast, I got a rude answer that breakfast is at 9, hence before when the pool's opening time. Still following up on this strange rule, I asked if it were possible to let me "break the rule" and got the answer that the hotel cares for the safety of its guests and the spa attendees are not there before 10. Additionally, the pool needed to be prepared and this cannot be done before 10 am. So basically it is a SPA hotel where you can't really use the spa unless you want to use it with a full stomach after breakfast or you wish to rush before dinner or skip dinner entirely! If you can "manage the risk" of swimming unattended, rather book any business hotel and enjoy the spa from 6 am till midnight and then take a walk in the park! There is also no lift, and with the room on the second floor it is quite a climb if you are impaired. Also, don't bring your suitcase as there is no space to put it anywhere anyways. As I had a twin room, I simply kept it on the second bed but what to do if you're not alone? Also, the hangers in the closed are made off cheap plastic without smoothed out edges so if you have a silk shirt or something delicate it may rip a hole in it. The bathroom is interesting as rather than having a regular shower, you have to climb 3 steps into a barrel which serves as a sit in tub/shower. Theoretically nice but as I had a knee surgery a month ago, taking a shower was just super difficult and climbing into the tub honestly so much more dangerous than swimming by myself :) The place doesn't welcome children below 12 years old! The food in the restaurant is good, however with 9 people we waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for the starters! The waiter was very friendly and excused himself many times... Still, this was beyond unprofessional! To me it really felt like a super snobby place with great potential for a wonderfully relaxing and exclusive place gone horribly wrong by lack of attention to details or guest needs. I spend around 80 nights per year in hotels and the Manor House Spa was a huge...
Read moreHotel is perfectly located - far enough from Warsaw to have an impression that you run away from the city, close enough to be perfect weekend destination.||Food is really good. I was able to visit the place before and during COVID reality and my reflection is - you are not going to be hungry after a breakfast or a dinner. ||There are breakfast sets of choice (you can pick as many as you want) and live cooking with variation of eggs dishes and apple pancakes. ||For dinner you can pick a set from couple of choices (soup and main; salad and dessert are given). If looking for a lunch option, highly recommend vegan menu - worth to try - delicious :)||Rooms are cosy, well equipped with comfy bed. All you need is there. ||There are no way to be bored at Manor. Quite nice spa menu with variety of treatments, swimming pool with a river, saunas (well designed), beautiful park with energy circles & chill out zone - all at your service. If you want to check out the neighborhood rent a bike or ride a horse. ||The atmosphere of the place is very relaxing. You can calm down, enjoy the silence and get some rest after busy week. ||At first you can perceive the price as high/too high but if you count all included services (breakfast, dinner, saunas, swimming pool, salt cave, gong massage session) it doesn't seem expensive any longer. ||For me the only two things which hotel should do differently are:||- to extend sauna zone opening hours (it is not very convenient to open wellness zone during breakfast of dinner time)||- to cancel parking fee (this is quite ridiculous to be charged for parking in a place where you can get to...
