The hotel is in beautiful settings in Mazury and it is beautifully decorated. It has horses and all possibilities to be great. ||If it wasn't run by amateurs....||||The hotel manager and owners made a mistake in my booking ( I wanted to have two separate rooms beds for my 17 years old twin boys and me, I got an apartment with two double beds and not 2 separate rooms, because the hotel was allegedly fully booked. It was empty for most of the time we wee there....), so I shortened the stay with one week, within the 7 days notice as the hotel policy requires... As a punishment they charged me 110.- PLN per night (900.-PLN) more than agreed price when I booked the hotel (790.-PLN)....The manager took payment for the whole 14 days "by mistake" and then said that she will return the money minus the expenses we had during the week within 3 days. Stupid as I am, I trusted her...||There was no money on my account after three days and when I asked, the whole circus started...||||Because, AFTER we left the hotel, they charged my card for a chair they allegedly had to send to a cleaner for 350.- PLN , without any evidence at all that the chair was dirty or cleaned. They also charged me for other things despite of my strong disagreement in our extensive mail exchange. They had made a mistake from the beginning and instead of admitting it and apologizing for it as a proper hotel would do, they argue in their long mails back and forth about things which are totally clear for anyone to see. This is costing me a lot of stress and time and the case is not yet closed after 1 month....||||They think that "rich" foreigners can pay for what ever these people come up with. I am from Norway and one of their argument was that in Scandinavia and especially Norway are prices much higher......||||I find such behavior disgusting and totally unacceptable and had to take now a Polish lawyer to get the rest of the money back (they returned a small amount which they though was good enough for me and which I have never agreed to...). ||||This should be a strong warning to anyone who wants to stay there. ||||For further information: they threatened me that if I post any negative review on this webside, they will display details of our...
Read moreStayed at the hotel for one night and sadly had left unsatisfied. First, cheers to the surroundings, the nature around the hotel is very beautiful. Though we had many issues during our stay. . The property does not mach the 4 star description as stated on the web and is misleading. We could not communicate in english at the property as stated on the website, this caused missunderstanding between us and staff, even though the helping lady was nice but there is huge language barrier. Wifi isn't working in the restaurant and there is no wifi at all in the rooms - again not what is stated on the booking.com webpage. We informed the staff. General cleanliness in the rooms and restaurant especially - not great. Tables dirty, room terrace and windows not clean either. This is not 4 star standard. The prices are unreasonable for the experience. We are dissapointed of our stay at this property to say the least, we do not feel rested. We would like a resolution from the property manager. By the way no actual cable tv, local channels which is fine, but it should not state cable is available. There was sauna and swimming pool the room description, cleaning lady told there was no point because water is too cold... in the end we had to leave earlier because water at all was gone. Couldn't use the bathroom, decided it was enough..
I have emailed the manager for two times, tried to talk with him on a phone. No reaction, no answer.
Well here I am leaving bad review. Take care of your wonderfull property, edit the description or at least talk to the people who paid 125 euros for one poor...
Read moreWe booked Martiany 21 through booking.com and were to stay there for 4 nights.||On the day of arrival, having already traveled 200km to get there we received a call from the manager that they didnt have a place for us. They called us 15 mins before the time when on booking.com the room was supposed to be available. The manager blamed booking for sending them the reservation too late (despite the fact that we booked 4 days earlier)||Then it got even better. The manager sent us one awful suggestion for some near-the-road 80' style guest house as a replacement and then stopped picking up the phone from us! When we called him after some time from my wife's phone he said he was out in town and couldnt deal with the situation until he got back to his computer.||We had to spend around 3 hours ourselves looking for a place to stay. Finally we managed to book Kraina Alkos (which we highly recommend) so the situation turned out for the best.||I recommend to stay away from Martiany if you want to have a relaxing weekend/stay. Its clearly run by a band of people without client experience, just focused on profit. In any tough situation you will get no help, just ignorance and cockiness.
