Looks nice; unfortunately refused to speak to rme or even acknowledge me. me walkiing from Gdansk to Krakow on pilgrimage. I thought the Palace spectacularly beautiful. Unhappily, after I went up to the desk to ask if they had any spare rooms, the manageress and all her staff pointedly and very deliberately ignored me. There could have been no mistaking that I was waiting to speak to her. I was one foot in front of her. Instead, for five minutes I waited, feeling increasingly frustrated as she avoided eye contact, found silly things to do, to make it look as if she was busy and even served two customers who came in after me. She and her staff should be ashamed. It's a good job she and her staff do not represent Poland. Why she acted like this? Because I carry a backpack and stick? Have a beard? Smell a bit from the road? Don't have the right perfume? I have plenty of cash and would have been happy to hire their best room and dine there and tip extravagantly. Three days ago, while walking to Kalisz, I came through a village and an old lady, over 90, came out. She begged me to sit in the shade; wanted to offer me food and drink as a traveller. Wished the blessings of God on me. That's the real Poland. I'd like to take this lady to the Pałac Mysliwski Radziwillow so she can teach them some basic manners. I wouldn't bother going to a place with such a stinking attitude guys.

Read moreI wonder why Palac Mysliwski is listed on TripAdvisor as a hotel only. First, it is a nice little palace with a big sad park. It is a popular touristic attraction of the region because Frederik Chopin stayed there twice in 1827 and 1829. Now the palace is famous for concerts of classical music and festivals. Personally I like the cafe: you may sit in the hall the palace, enjoy the view, listen to music and eat the best, the finest, the most fresh and refined sernik (Polish cheesecake) of the whole region (I know, I've spend 2 months there, I've checked, it costed me +2kg and +1cm waist). And yes, you may have a stay in the unique atmosphere. If you happen to have a romantic soul and to ba around - come at least for the coffee...
