Mish mash, this is the only way I could describe this hotel. On first impression it looks great exterior wise, the problem lies when you walk into the hotel/rooms itself. It's like a Blackpool B&B, random photos of stars/celebs of who knows coming down the stairs. In the Dining area to the right you walk into an OCD nightmare of a vast array of the most random of pictures that not only cover walls but also doors and they are wonky. We were put in here for our dinner and the table had dead flowers in a small vase and flies that were dying to escape. The meal was as bland as hell and the waiter didn't even pour our wine, although in hindsight I bet they've never been trained to do this. The main dining area is an 80's nightmare of tablecloths and seat coverings. Whoever designed this and thinks that is appropriate in this day and age needs firing immediately!!! We then went to our room after dinner that was situated in one of the converted barns where we were greeted by an entrance step that was approximately 500mm from the floor!!! then the most horrendous decorating style, lime green, brown, white, old wonky wall lights, an old stinky bed, wardrobe and table and a dirty duvet!! 🤬🤮The saving grace was a brand new modern bathroom. Again, who puts modern with ancient old stuff is beyond me🤔. We then went for a walk through the vineyard, quite a nice area until we reached the 'beach' area. Sand and a hut with broken plastic windows with dirty kids toys is not, I repeat NOT a beach area!!! Also the dirty pond/lake area is very off-putting, I would not let my dog swim in it!!! We then went to the outdoor seating drinking area where the first chair I went to sit on had a bolt coming out of it, had I sat on the chair I'd have been suing the hotel for damages as I would have gone through it!!! Needless to say we didn't stay the allocated 3 days we had planned, we only managed 3 hours and we'd had enough!! The saving grace of the hotel is the brilliant receptionist, she deserves a medal 🥇 look, everyone is different and enjoys different things, this just wasn't for us. Maybe Basil Fawlty would have thought this "helltel" would have been...

We spent a "spa" weekend there and were unfortunately a bit underwhelmed.

First of all, the location is quite nice and the food in the restaurant was very good. Unfortunately, some of the crew members could definitely use some training.

That's the feeling we had everywhere. You come to the spa area, and the person at the reception is looking at you and wondering what you want. You need to ask for everything, for towels, a bathrobe, and a chip for the lockers. Everything takes time. The spa area is ok but a bit underwhelming. It's a nice pool and two saunas, and that's it. Saunas are unfortunately not really hot enough.

The most disappointing part was the massage. We booked it in advance and were looking forward to that, and when we were waiting, we were asked whether we wanted to have a romantic bath tub with a glass of prosecco instead. You get the feeling that the ladies do not really like what they do and want to avoid that with some "great" ideas, and that's how the massage felt like as well. You get oiled up, and when you ask them to press a bit harder, they will tell you it is a relaxation massage, so they will not do it. So a great experience. 😃 So not recommended for spa at all.

So it all looks better on the website than it actually is,...

The buildings and grounds at the Palac are all in a wonderful state of care. It is very pleasant to stroll the grounds to visit the beautiful gardens, vineyard, pond with beach and watercraft (all inclusive, no extra charge). |The indoor pool is located in a large vaulted ceiling building and is very clean, at a good temp, featuring jets and waterfalls. It is clean without a chlorine smell, and there is good ventilation and large windows. The shower and locker rooms are also clean. |We found our room to be large, comfortable and modern. There is a large bathroom with excellent water pressure. We kept the window open and it was a quiet night, we slept well. |As cyclists, we are always hungry and found both dinner and breakfast to be delicious! In our three week bike tour, this was the Best breakfast buffet that we have been treated to. Dinner was served by English-speaking waiters and consisted of a few courses of excellent quality and proper quantity. Some local foods were included. |We were lucky enough to meet the friendly owner who shared some history and answered our questions. |We highly recommend staying at...

This hotel was recommended by my friend's grandmother for a family dinner. Personally, I'm not a big fan of palaces so wasn't my kind of place. But, If you're someone who prefers historic buildings/ architecture, palaces, then this is a great place to stay. I really liked the service though. Some service personnel cater to German customers as they speak German better than English I was told. Some other service personnel speak English so it's depends on who you meet when you check in. Breakfast in a buffet style is served in the morning. They also prefer that you pay when you're leaving and not on arrival. They said it's better as they can keep an accurate record. The location is quite far from any big city in my opinion. The nearest town, Szprotawa didn't really have much to do. To sum up, the place is quite big. There's a wine yard and a small water body behind the gardens. The sign will say Beach but it isn't. It's more like a small lake. The swimming pool was also undergoing some sort of repairs so we couldn't access it during the stay

Gorąco POLECAM !!! Serdecznie dziękuję za możliwość wyciszenia, odpoczynku korzystając z udogodnień ośrodka. Teren Pałacu ogromny i mega zadbany, codzienne podlewanie, częste koszenie jednym słowem każdy znajdzie swój ulubiony "kąt". Sauny do wyboru sucha i mokra. Strefa Welness Strefa ciszy i spokoju w oczekiwaniu na zabiegi można tam zasnąć w 5 sekund. Same zabiegi również wykonane profesjonalnie sprawnie i bez zarzutu w hipermiłej atmosferze relaxu. Pozdrawiam serdecznie
