Petro. Motel i Restauracja — Hotel in gmina Torzym

Stayed at this place several times over the last ten years. Normally this were the best experience of our journeys. However lately this motel has dropped several notches.||It seems they stopped "trying". Place is cold - and they will not easily be convinced to turn up the heat. Bar is really understocked and staff is not really knowledgeable.||Languagewise they have become better. Food is tasty but really not at all varied and colourful. It is limited how many times "schnitzel and fries" will do it for you.||At breakfast they have set menus... however ordering one of them leaves you still lacking several of the items mentioned in the menu. There used to be nice and fresh bread and bread rolls- but now they have clearly been defrosted repeatedly and bread is dry and old. Also they are not able to serve a group of 7-8 people close to at the same time... leaving some of us finished while some are still waiting for food.||However we feel somewhat welcome . But holes in the floor, dirty floors and smelly corridors is kind of putting us off more and more.||Beds are nice, though... and blankets and linen is comfortable. However water in shower is scarce... but warm.||Will maybe still come if we see some improvements... but getting close...

I used this hotel for quite an adventurous motorcycle tour to Minsk,Belarus from my home in England. Nothing to do with the hotel and everything to do with me almost overstretching the miles I did each day and on my return leg the ridiculous five and a half hours spent in the Belarus/Poland border control I was very pleased to see its welcoming signs at the end of two very tiring days travel. The hotel provided me with food and excellent beer. Breakfast is simple and limited to a choice of three selections from a set menu making service fast for the early get away. Decor is perhaps dated and made me imagine what it must have been like in the Soviet days of the 'Intourist' hotel. I would say very similar! Cleanliness is average but on the whole having paid only £29 for a double room with breakfast I don't think anyone can complain. Would I use it again? the answer would be a...

On a road-trip to visit family, we stopped overnight at this motel. Overall, I found it excellent value for money, very clean and convenant and open 24 hours so check in at 2:00am was not a problem. ||The rooms are comfortable and clean, with a good shower and toilet area. We were two adults, a toddler and a new born and were relatively comfortable. ||Two disappointing aspects - the staff were not really friendly nor helpful. I had booked a cot, but they couldn’t be bothered to ensure it was in the room. I found one randomly at the top of the stairs that I commandeered for the night. The other was that the breakfast, while huge potential, was disappointing. No real coffee and then there were no sausages in stock (in Poland!). ||Other than that, no complaints and I’d definitely consider staying...
