Hotel i Restauracja Kochanów — Hotel in gmina Zabierzów

My wife and myself booked this hotel for its proximity to Krakow airport, we arrived late, apx 9.40pm and via email prior to arrival the hotel arranged to shuttle us to the hotel, nice touch. We were met by the hotel owners son. On arrival at the hotel the owners where waiting to receive us !!||We were offered a hot meal, which as we saw the kitchen was closing we declined the thoughtful offer.||||We used the hotel for 1 night and they kindly arranged our return shuttle to the airport at 9am, we had a nice local breakfast, fresh and good start to the day, if your looking for something hot, it was on offer but we didnt have time.||||The hotel has recently been refurbished and it was immaculate, I mean seriously clean, would put 4star places to shame. The room was warm, aired, modern, bed was very comfortable, just what we wanted for a short stay after a long flight.||||We paid 200 zly for the room, and 80 zly for the shuttles, all in it came to apx £60 for our one night stay with breakfast, really couldn't ask for more, staff couldn't do more, excellent value for money, if we are ever that way again we will book with out hesitation.||||Alan and Mary.||||If you need any advice feel free to...

Large hotel by the main road linking Kraków with Chrzanów. Car park not big enough, as we had to park up at the pathway to the main door. On this occasion there're only two of us, so we booked ourselves into a large apartement. And it was very spacious, and it was facing to the back garden, so we didn't hear noises from the busy road. Also it was quite important, as it was very hot night, and rooms aren't fitted with air-con, although our room was equipped with large fan. Some strange arrangements with the reception, as it was located by the back door, and all the guests had to walk around, following arrows stuck on windows, to find it - not sure if that is always the case, or only for that weekend, as there was a party held for owners friends. The hotel and the restaurant are separate buildings, joint by their corners, but still you have to walk outside for the short stretch of pavement, to get from one building to another. The family owned and managed Kochanów hotel & restaurant was built in 2013 and offers 16 rooms over 2 floors. The hotel radiates a relaxed atmosphere.||||The hotel is located to the A-79 Road at 8 kms north of KRK Airport. Hotel Kochanów is a well-maintained, basic establishment. ||||Our adequate furnished and decorated room had a table & chair, a wardrobe, a TV, an OK double bed and a separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet & shower cubicle. All was very clean. Windows can be opened but have no mosquito screens. At night all was quiet.||||In the room we found complimentary mineral water but no coffee & tea facility. Free Wi-Fi Internet and free parking in front of the property.
