I have never written a tripadvisor review before. But I wanted the public to know about my experience with this hotel.||||Last week, I requested a room for 5 nights total (3nights+2nights) and a second room for 2 nights. I booked it through a Polish hotel website, http://www.poznan-online.net. I got a very competitive rate, since the dates are during the european championships. After submitting my credit card details, I heard back from them a few hours later, with confirmation of my reservation and a booking number and they sent me a voucher to redeem upon arrival. Great, or so I thought.||||This afternoon, I received an email from the same booking website, stating that they had cancelled my booking and were refunding me my money. They cited the following:||||"We are pleased to announce that booking number WRT/2420/12/2011 of Hotele.pl made by the system is canceled due to failure of the reservation system in the lodging facility in which you have made your reservation. We would also like to emphasize that the failure was not the reason of hotele.pl system, but due to the exclusion of the system in the lodging facility.||We can not make the sale of these rooms. Since January 2012, the hotel will manage the new owner. At the moment we are not owners of rooms sold as a result of hotel system failure."||||My friends and I are very upset. Not only have we since booked our flights there, demand for hotels has it that hotels are now ranging from €400 minimum/night.||||I have relayed my concerns on to the booking website and the hotel. It makes our Euro 2012 trip very difficult indeed. We feel very hard done by and it would be very easy to come up with another suggestion as to why they have cancelled our booking. We are currently looking for some legal advice as it seems like they should not be able to do this. ||||Anyways, thanks for reading and I just want to know if there are others who had...
Read moreMuch like David H and Niall S below, I had the same experience. Booked through the same website (poznan-online.net) as David, and for a cheap rate. Hotel cancelled on me a full week later, citing 'error in booking system' and 'change of hotel management' Cue lengthy emails of complaint from me, accusing them of telling lies in order to simply make more money out of Euro 2012 fans. As I write this, some rooms have reappeared on booking.com, at more than 3 times the price I originally booked them, so I will leave you to deduce if I was correct in my assumptions. ||After my complaints, the hotel did try find me alternative accommodation in a private apartment, which to be fair to them, was reasonably priced (I turned it down having sourced somewhere else in any case), but I feel I would not have been offered this only for my complaints. ||||I also wrote to the website in question, to be fair, I fully acknowledge it was nothing to...
Read moreWe stayed in the newly renovated Hotel Ksiecia Jozefa in April, 2016. The rooms were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and efficient. It was a bit on the small side, however. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. The breakfast had a good variety for all tastes - European and American.||||The only thing that surprised us was the lack of daily service to our room. It wasn't a problem, but it was unexpected that our room didn't get serviced.||||another thing, is the hotel is on the opposite side of the city from the airport. It is easy to get to, but quite a long drive. We stayed there because a wedding reception of friends was being held there.||||Overall the hotel was clean, comfortable, and had...
