We had a family holiday booked at this hotel, in total two rooms. At 9pm, the night before our arrival, they called us to say that the next day is a wedding and the party will be loud and all night so we will not get any sleep. Not sure what we were supposed to do about that with such late notice.||||The hotel itself is clean and nice, although do not expect many original features inside. The best room is Rycerski, which is a large apartment with two bedrooms and a huge living room, complete with a PS4, lake views, big bath etc. The rooms come with aircon which is a nice touch during the heatwave. The reception staff are friendly, you get your room serviced every three days and you have a small fridge in the room.||||You have plenty of free parking, beach for the kids and a short walk to the town centre and there is plenty to do near the hotel.||||The breakfast is ok but very limited, no fruit, lukewarm juice, only scrambled egg and frankfurter as warm options but the worse thing is the instant coffee, surely, they could offer better coffee? The other negative, if you are hoping to do any work whilst here is that the Wi-Fi is slow and intermittent, we were unable to ever watch Netflix during our stay.||||The towels are small and no beach towels even though we are on the beach? The toiletries are poor so bring your own shampoo etc.||||Real shame as it could be really good. The lake is stunning and the hotel has so...
Read moreit looks austere from the outside, more like a British boarding school than a castle, and it's a feeling that continues on entry: the reception area looks bleak and unpromising and is in desperate need of a thoughtful re-design. The rooms, though, are exceptional: large, equipped with sofas, proper writing desks, bean bags, and individualized art. to enjoy it to the max, ask for a room facing the lake. ||Aside from the rooms (and the photos don't do them justice), the bar is worth a mention - while we didn't actually visit the Piano Bar, we did enjoy - in the fullest sense of the word - sitting on the lakeside terrace: for no corkage fee at all, the staff happily fixed us cocktails using the ingredients/alcohol we so happened to be travelling with. This was much appreciated. ||Overall, a really wonderful stay in a hotel that is highly...
Read moreThe building is old fashioned, and the rooms in a rustic style. The room was spacious, and so was the bath room. The room and the bath room were very well cleaned. The walls were decorated with photos in a modern style. The hotel was very quiet, and no street noice. The hotel surroundings is very nice; - you can have a walk in the park along the lake. The distance to central part of the town is 400 metres. ||In one big hall there was an exebition of modern paintings on display.||||The staff was very friendly. I could wish that the staff had more knowledge of English and German languages.||||I had invited friends for dinner in the restaurant, and the food was good. The waiter Brygida is worth mentioning; -she lifted the evening for me; - friendly, professional, humrous and had a...
