Hotel Krystyna — Hotel in Szczytno

I have stayed at the Hotel Krystyna a couple of time. This past time was for 5 days. I really enjoy coming to this hotel although it does not have the amenities one usually finds in the larger or western style hotels (that is why I gave it a 3). However, if you are looking for the charm of small town Europe… this is the place. ||||Pros: Service and people are fantastic. I can’t say enough of any of them going above and beyond. The food is very good and would put it up against any of the other restaurants in the area. The location is perfect to walk around the lakes and visit other eateries. It is located right downtown.|| ||Cons: The rooms are minimal at best. The double bed is actually to single put together. I was by myself but if a couple stayed I could see where that could be a pain. The shower was very small (no tub). You don’t bend over to pick anything up unless you open the door to the shower so you can have room. ||||Tip: They have standard keys to lock and unlock your door. So at night when you lock your door from the inside leave it in the lock. In case of an emergency you don’t want to go find your key in the dark if you need to leave the room quickly.||||I wasn’t there for the room so I can get over that. The charm of the people and good food made it up for me. Besides I pay 5 times more for rooms elsewhere in the world so it was worth it. I will be staying here for...

Very solid no-frills hotel that works well both for business and leisure travelers. Very good location right in the city centre and at the same time in front of park with a lake. Despite central location it’s quiet at night. There are quite a few solid restaurants and cafes nearby, the hotel also has its own restaurant. For leisure visitors there is a swimming beach with kayaks and paddle boats rentals about 5mins walk from the hotel.||Hotel is no-frill hotel at lower end of mid-price hotel, but it’s clean, comfortable and functional. Free wifi works well and breakfast is ok. The parking space is bit tight and was always fully packed with cars every night.||I enjoyed my two-night stay at this value for money hotel. And whenever back in Szczytno I will surely look no further...

We took 3 bed room. It was big enough, clean and comfortable. Bathroom with a shower. The one and only downside of this hotel is that you can hear everything what is going on in the corridor. The soundproofing here should be improved. Although it was really quiet at the night. Bed were really comfy. ||There is a restaurant availabe and food quality it offers is very good. ||Staff was nice and professional. ||The hotel is located next to a lake where you can go to feed some ducks. ||If you plan to came here by car be prepared for tight parking lot.||There is a conference room and no place to leave your kids for a while. ||By and large, it is very nice choice for buisness trip.
