Rezydencja Rowita — Hotel in Wisła

Just back from an outstanding week staying at the Rowita in Wisla. As a novice skier the ski center (3 mins walk from the hotel) was ideal and whilst the nursery slope was great to learn on, the longer and more difficult slope provided the next step and kept the accomplished skiers in our party more than entertained for the week. At 25p or 50p for the two button lifts you could ski all day and not worry about the cost. The ski hire (Yasho....spelling?) was equally good value and the equipment (esp. the all important boots) were in excellent condition. The lessons were also first class and once again great value. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious with lots of extremely well behaved (and annoyingly great skiing!) children enjoying their half term break. If you want more of a challenege there are plenty of other slopes near by which are easialy accessable by cheap taxi transfer.||||As for the hotel.....Roger and Rita (the owners) could not have made us feel more welcome. Rita could not do enough for us and will help you arrange trips, taxis, restraurants, ski hire...bascially anything where the language can be a problem (English was not widely taught in Schools until after the Russians left so many older genration do not speak any English). Roger is an old fashioned English host.....happy to chat, join you in a beer or challenge you to a game of darts in the evenings (beware - he is pretty good!). He may even take you to the local pub - but from experience I suggest you treat the local vodka with respect! ||||The rooms are sapcious, spotlessly clean with great views and good bathrooms (hire the flat - sleeps up to 8 I think - if you want a deep bath). Water is hot and plentyfull and the rooms nice and warm as the temperature outside drops below freezing. Breakfast is good with lots of choice.....continental in style but with hot eggs and suasage available as well as cereals as much coffee or tea as you can drink.....perfect for setting you up for a days skiing.||||If you have an problems (our showerhead would not stay in position) a quick worh with Roger and he will have it fixed before you have finnished your breakfast.||||They is also a handy drying room downstairs for ski/boot storage.||||This is not a five star French Alpine resort but is an extremely welcoming, comfortable hotel with great accomodation and friendly service with the added benefit of having a great little ski centre on the doorstep.||||Can't wait to go back.....I am told by friends that it makes a great summer...

Me and my family stayed at Rowita in August for 4 days, it is situated off the main road through wisla in a gorgeous hillside position. We had 3 rooms which were on the 1st floor and we shared an enormous balcony which was fantastic! The hotel is perfectly clean, and the garden is lovely with the swings and slide for the children. The hosts at Rowita couldn't have been any more helpful. For some of our party this was our first time in Poland and it didn't disappoint. The breakfasts were lovely with fresh food every day, they even did us a strong tea for us brits and this appeared every morning for us! Breakfast is held in a nice large room with patio doors which can be opened on sunny days and there are tables and chairs outside. There is a play room for the children downstairs which includes some toys, a small snooker table and darts. There is also a large room with a tv and the host was more than happy for us to use this for the children. We could have had the use of a barbecue which the host was more than happy to sort for us, there also seemed to be a large wood burner with seats all round for the colder evenings! ||||I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay, either in the sunny summer months or the snowy...

Cóż mogę powiedzieć o Rowicie: Sam dom wita nas przestronnymi i ciekawie zaaranżowanymi pokojami (każdy z łazienką i większość z dostępem do tarasu), ładnie utrzymanym terenem wokół rezydencji - jest tu miejsce na ognisko, jest duży, gazowy grill, stoliki na wypadek, gdybyście mieli ochotę zjeść pod chmurką, a także mnóstwo miejsca pod wiatą, gdyby jednak pogoda nieco się zepsuła, na każdego czeka spory, zadbany basen, huśtawka ogrodowa, a na najmłodszych dodatkowo trampolina. Jest też świetlica z bilardem i piłkarzykami, niewielką biblioteczką i planszówkami, miła alternatywa dla wieczornego spędzania czasu przed telewizorami (aczkolwiek te również znajdują się w pokojach). Obiekt posiada dużą stołówkę, można wykupić opcje noclegu ze śniadaniami lub dodatkowo z obiadokolacjami, polecam serdecznie, gdyż Panie Kucharki gotują smacznie i dużo, na stołach króluje kuchnia polska, muszę przyznać że podczas mojego pobytu nie jadłam nic, co by mi nie smakowało, a zaznaczę że jestem wybredna :)) Śniadania serwowane są w formie bufetu szwedzkiego, Obsługa Kuchni bardzo dba o Gości oferując dokładki, czasem przygotują coś ekstra, tak więc naprawdę warto stołować się właśnie tu, zamiast jeździć i szukać po restauracjach. W tym miejscu chciałabym pozdrowić serdecznie wszystkie Panie, które tak cudownie karmiły mnie i moją rodzinę przez ostatni tydzień - mam nadzieję, że szybko znów wrócimy, skosztować Waszych rarytasów! Niezależnie od tego, czy wykupicie posiłki, czy też nie, w każdej chwili możecie skorzystać z ekspresu, który zaparzy naprawdę wyśmienitą kawę w wielu wariantach, a dla Waszego dziecka w mig przygotuje gorącą czekoladę. Pani Ewa, która zajmuje się administracją, jest najlepszym managerem klienta, jakiego było mi dane poznać, serdeczna, ciepła osoba - jak zresztą cały personel Rowity, dzięki Niej poczuliśmy się dosłownie jak w domku u Mamusi, obiecujemy że z radością będziemy wracać do Was, gdy tylko czas pozwoli. W Rowicie poznaliśmy wspaniałe i otwarte osoby, świętowaliśmy urodziny córki, które dzięki tym cudownym ludziom będą niezapomniane, bawiliśmy się świetnie, a dzięki temu wracamy do domu wypoczęci i rozluźnieni.
