From the condition of the villas to the quality of hospitality offered by staff, this was a huge disappointment. The villas have not been maintained, as evident from many deteriorating aspects throughout. Best example are the bathrooms, where the tiles do not lay flat, and the grout is cracked and very dirty. Ditto for the caulking around the tub. There's a skylight which does not let much light in due tot he accumulation of dirt and debris. The villas were two stories, and our downstairs level, which included the kitchen and living area, was overrun with ants. Not my favorite early morning activity to collect and dispose of hordes of ants. Also, we did not know what was decaying off the patio, which is off the sliding door from the living area, but there was a large community of flies which prevented us from using the patio or even going outside through the sliding doors. I requested that the "resort" address these issues but, in the 5 days we were there they did not do a thing. Also, there were steep stairs leading down to the entry door, and the railing was very loose and covered with some sticky substance. Again, I asked for this to be addressed so I didn't have to worry about falling the stairs, and it was never taken care of. We had dinner at the "club" the first night and the food was terrible. Finally, we had made reservations five months in advance for TWO villas, as we were attending a family wedding in Obidos. When we arrived, the staff told us that no, we only had a reservation for ONE villa. They were quite insistent, until we showed them the email confirmation of the reservation. Even then, they were not apologetic. They found a second villa, but it was not convenient to the first, but they said that was all they could do. We also discovered that the wedding planner had come earlier with two welcome boxes, since she knew there were two parties staying a Bom Successo, but the hotel staff told her that only one party was staying there. However, they claimed, to us, that the wedding planner only brought the one welcome box. Did they not think we would talk to her and find out they were just lying? We were promised that the hotel would provide a remediation for us (we suggested a significant discount was in order) due to the abysmal treatment and the deficient accommodations but, despite repeated inquiries, nothing was ever addressed. |All in all, the worst hotel experience I...

Lots of issues with the property we rented and chaged to a nrw "upgraded house" that is smaller in areas we use like kitchen, living room, and the lack of conection to energy source to power my hybrid car like the other house had.... besides the horrendous disconfortable and almost unusable sofa in the living room (for sure.no one sear there to see/test by themselves) and again rhe ac with problems and good luck to the brave who try to put to sleep a baby on a hot room due, once more, problems with ac gas system) that has still sunlight coming through. Asked to talk with management and was was informed that they weren't here in the next days (find it really strange due to the monstrously space of the property, to the number of houses and the number of persons that work and are here in vacations or as renters like me). This are a vacations to forget and counting the day's to get out of here and go somewhere else. By the way, kids playground being closed, not for one day but a few and still is, in August?!?

Ps: appreciation remark to the recepción and maintenance staff that tried theyr best to give us solutions and support us the best way they can with the few resources of time/personal available for this huge space. Thank you.

Very bad remark for the management/administration that even when called didn't shownup or any one responsible, only sent the "do it all receptionists" and avoid any type of personal dialogue. For sure you all must know what dictate the good practices and this is not they way to work or serve...

im Winter für Krimis und Horrorfilme, im Ernst ich polarisiere sehr stark in meiner Meinung über dieses Resort.||||Ein Investorenmodell wie es schlimmer nicht sein kann, billiges Land in schöner Umgebung gekauft, gleich 60 Hektar, dass ist groß, sehr groß, dann eine Horde Architekten drübergeschickt, wird sich schon irgendwie verkaufen, ein Hotel, ein Golfplatz und schon rollt der Rubel? Nicht ganz hier deutlich zu sehen, etwa 50 % der Anlage sind fertig gestellt, vor Jahren schon, der Rest entweder Bauruine, veraltet oder leer stehend. Das Hotel längst verwaist der Betreiber hat das Weite gesucht.||||Schwieriges Terrain um Urlaub zu machen, eine Kilometerlange Mauer umgibt das ganze, man fühlt sich ein wenig wie in den Townchips in Afrika, einige Vorschreiber behaupten da sei es sicherer.||||Aber nun zum Aufenthalt, im Februar, BIG Wave in Nazare ist angesagt, also auch für mich ein Grund mal zu schauen was Portugal ausser der Algarve und Lissabon noch so zu bieten hat.||||Erst wurden wir in eine Alptraumvilla aus den 70ern einquartiert, ok die war renoviert hatte aber das Flair eines Bunkers, zudem auf dem ganzen Gelände und speziell in dem Gebiet der Villa niemand ausser uns zu sehen war. Geschätze paar hundert Wohnungen, ich glaube es waren nur 4 belegt, Geisterstadtatnmosphäre, da braucht man starke Nerven oder eine Nahkampfausbildung.||||Auf den Wunsch hin eine andere Villa beziehen zu dürfen bekamen wir ein Bauhaus aus den 90ern? ca 150 qm sehr durchdachte Aufteilung ( 70 qm Wz., Kamin, Küche, Essbereich, im Souterain 2 Schlaftrackte mit jeweil 2 Schlafmöglichkeiten, begehbarer Kleiderschrank und 2 schönen Bädern. Etwas abgewohnt, dass hat man deutlich gesehen, die Küche komplett aber unpraktisch eingerichtet, für ein paar Tage geht es. Soweit so gut..... Ohne Auto können Sie es komplett vergessen, es gibt zwar einen Golfclub mit kleiner Gastronomie auf dem Gelände, aber wirklich abendfüllend ist das nicht. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Gastronomie, Menschen, alles in ca. 25 Minuten Fahrzeit erreichbar, entweder Obidos oder die Küstenorte bieten sich an....||||Zum Service der Anlage bleibt zu sagen, es wird täglich gründlich gereinigt, sehr gut vielen Dank, die Sicherheit wird gewährleistet durch einen Sicherheitsdienst die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und fahren in regelmässigen Abständen das Gelände ab. Rezeption unerfahrene Mitarbeiter tut mir leid, eine besondere Qualifikation oder einen ausgeprägten Servicegedanken konnte ich hier nicht erkennen. Einen kleinen Supermarkt gibt es, natürlich war der zu und ich konnte von aussen nicht wirklich erkennen was denn da verkauft werden soll.||||Trotzdem scheint diese Anlage irgendwie zu funktionieren, am WE wird es etwas voller und in der Saison Juli bis September scheint es voll belegt zu sein, ausserdem ist man bemüht um einen weiteren Verkauf der Grundstücke, was sehr wünschenswert wäre.# auuserdem auf der Wunschlistet wären...||eine Liste mit Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants oder Stränden in der Umgebung,||ein Bäcker der nicht 30 Minuten Fahrzeit erfordert, Ansprache und Information, in allen Bereichen, es sollten ja Stararchitekten sein, wer hat was gebaut und was steckt für eine Idee dahinter? Wird wohl alles für immer ein Geheimnis bleiben.||||Alles in allem ein guter Ausgangspunkt um die Region zu erkunden, Fahrzeiten nerven mit zunehmender Urlaubsdauer, ich bin in 10 Tagen ca. 1800 km gefahren.....||||Unsere Villa war sehr hellhörig, an den 2 Tagen als wir Nachbarn hatten :-)).||Täglich sind Herrscharen von Gärtnern und Handwerkern unterwegs.||||Ich hoffe das Konzept geht auf, es wäre wünschenswert. Allerdings gibt es in der Umgebung 3 weitere Resort in ähnlicher Größe oder größer.... Entwicklungspotential ohne Ende fragt sich wer das alles kaufen soll? ||||Zb. das West Cliff Resort, unfassbar gross, teuer, schön.... in der Mitte von nirgendwo,ich gehe mit einem Fragezeichen... Irgendwie war es schön, mal ein ganz...

Unfortunately, very disappointing We had high hopes for our stay, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing. On the positive side, the food was really good and the staff were kind and friendly. However, the villa itself was not clean upon arrival. There was a serious leak in the downstairs bathroom, which caused the entire floor to get wet — even the carpet in the bedroom was soaked. The glass dining table was unstable and felt like it could collapse at any moment. We reported both the leak and the table, and were told someone would come the next day, but no one ever showed up. We were also charged €20 per night for our dog. Normally I understand and accept this, but in this case it felt unreasonable, especially considering the cleanliness issues. The playground was also very unsafe for our toddler, with exposed nails, broken steps on the slide, and other damaged equipment. Overall, the price–quality ratio of the villa was far from acceptable. Despite the lovely staff and food, we would not return due to these serious issues.

In the last minute it was increased the price due number of kids in the house that was always informed since begging by email. An internal mistake from staff not assumed by them harmed the customer. Very attention, confirm twice before assuming the price!!! -The house is needed urgently some maintenance..very far away from being considered as a 5 starts. Air conditioning damaged, damaged walls, etc... -Long distance from the nearest city, +/-30 minutes. Very good to relax but if you need something urgent take this in account. Friendly place with a lot of potential, but unfortunately, it seems that it's being dicreasing the quality and customer expectations.
