Horta da Lameira - Turismo Rural — Hotel in Alvito

Horta da Lameira is a great find.

We originally planned to stay just one night with our Mercedes Sprinter campervan and two dogs, but the peaceful atmosphere, warm hospitality, and lovely surroundings made it impossible to leave. We happily extended our stay to soak it all in.

Tiago and Mary are exceptional hosts. (With an adorable dog) They truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and their kindness creates such a relaxed, open vibe. The other guests were just as easy-going, adding to the laid-back and friendly atmosphere.

We loved wandering the large grounds with our dogs, enjoying the calm of nature, and cooling off with cold drinks by the pool, perfect for the warm spring days. Their homemade breakfast was a real highlight and a delicious way to end our stay.

While we stayed at the Horta with our camper, the B&B also looked beautiful — and we could easily imagine this place being perfect for a retreat, or to celebrate a magical wedding or birthday in that wonderful garden

Though we didn’t explore much beyond the Horta (we were in full recharge mode), a morning run through the surrounding countryside revealed stunning views and Mediterranean landscapes.

This place is tranquil, welcoming, and thoughtfully cared for. We left feeling refreshed, although wishing we had time for a longer stay.

We spent 3 days at the beautiful Horta da Lameira with our campervan. Mary and Tiago are super nice hosts and helped us with everything needed. The area with the orange and olive trees, pool, animals and nature was super relaxing and we enjoyed it a lot. It is super quiet and perfect to relax and enjoy some days away. We booked the breakfast which was incredible delicious. We enjoyed every bit of our stay and recommend Horta da Lameira to everyone - with a campervan or in one of the beautiful rooms.

Hello, we stayed some days with the lovely hosts Mary and Tiago. The place is very relaxing, quiet, wholesome and far from the busy city’s. I was using the library to work from their house, the WiFi was working well to have conference calls. The animals in the farm are nice and the kids can play all day outside. The nice city of Evora is perfect to visit...
