Well worth it and highly recommended! Extremely friendly and calm man who welcomed us. All the staff (family?) extremely kind and welcoming. We enjoyed the quality and simplicity of the decor. The location is perfect and the place is extremely quiet and peaceful. Spacious, cosy common areas, as well as, in excellent condition. Spacious room with incredible views over the Mizarela valley. Breakfast served in a small station, periodically stocked, which seemed to be a good measure to minimise waste. However, this idea of breakfast layout, could be that you eat cold scrambled eggs, for example. Perhaps it could be something they could ask each person when they arrive at the table and then make just the amount they need on the spot. Despite being new, like everything else, the mattress was not entirely to our liking, although this is a very personal opinion...

Probably the best service I have ever experienced - and that includes some of the most exclusive hotels in the world.

I arrived here for just one night stay - I wanted to go hiking with my dog. Unfortunately, by my own mistake Pets were not allowed. This was clear on the booking site but I had mistaken it.

Nevertheless the owner found me a cottage room for me and my dog which was excellent. They could have turned me away then and there but they found me a room and accommodated me.

Absolutely superb attitude and service.

And the breakfast as well is very, very good - this is. 5 star breakfast. They obviously care and want their guests leaving with a very positive experience.

An amazing small hotel in a breathtaking location, in the middle of Serra de Freita and 100 meters away from a 60m high waterfall. The rooms are decorated with taste, little balconies have a set of chairs and a table. The view from the room is incredible! There is inside and outside parking and a small café next door, that serves sandwiches and drinks. The closest food shop is 5 km away, the closest restaurant...
