Quinta Teixeira — Hotel in Calheta

Our holiday at Quinta Teixeira has been absolutely fantastic and we would highly recommend this for anyone who is travelling to the BEAUTIFUL Madeira!

The house itself is modern, clean, spacious and has everything you need! The pool was also put to use many times to cool off from the gorgeous weather.

The owners Mayung and Tony are an absolute compliment to this beautiful house as they are willing to help you with anything, if you’re unsure of what you can do on the island then they will be able to inform you with this information and will make sure you’re not short of options.

Our stay was only 7 days but we’d have been happy to spend more time here and will be using their service again one day when we return to Madeira.

We have been here for our honeymoon. This sweet little house is in very good condition and had everything we needed fo a two-week stay. The house owners live next door and help with everything that may occur. They gave us a very warm welcome and made sure that we had everything we needed. My husband got sick during our stay and we were helped immediately.

The region in the west of madeira is rougher than around Funchal from what we experienced. The temperature was not as high (but beware of the power of the sun nevertheless) and the winds picked up quite a bit, which we really enjoyed (especially cooling down in the evening).

Comfortable house in a beautiful part of the island, very nice owners. The house is well equipped, inside you will find everything you need on holiday. The terrace with the swimming pool is a good place to relax. Around the well-kept garden. The terrace overlooks the ocean and the most beautiful sunsets in Madeira. The owners are open-minded people. Thanks to them, you can get to know the local face of the island. There are many interesting places in the immediate vicinity, lots of space, nice views, no crowds....
