Talking about our experience at Prazer Da Natureza, it turned into a not that confortable stay and for the price we spent is quite far from getting an amazing family experience. We spent several days in a villa as well as in an apartment.||||Let´s start with the things we liked best...||||Pros: ||1. The place is very good located with a cared nature around the spot and a variety of trees surrounding the villas and apartments that puts you automatically in a very calm mood.||||2. Staff is kind (but sometimes not that helpful when issues coming over)||||3. The quiet and calm is something difficult to find somewhere else.||||4. Cleanless represents the place.||||Cons:||1. Unacceptable: No hot water for our daily shower at the apartment, in the minute the 4 of us wanted to take a shower, surprise: No hot water!! Sad, but true!||||2. Selling the spot as a Spa, the truth is that the Spa consists in:||- Small indoor swimming pool, Sauna and 8 pieces-small-gym.||- My experience at the sauna:||After 2 hours been opened the temperature was so low, after waiting for 45 minutes, the temperature was the same (60º), so I´ve decided to not take that sauna I was waiting for... Sad, but true!||||50€/45 min. massage:||Even if you want to pay an extra for a massage, the professionals that are in charge are not qualified enough and compared with other places we´ve been to, it has no comparison at all in the minute you wanna have an amazing relax-spa-mood experience, is very far from that. :(||||So, for being sold as a cool-Spa-spot it should be developed in order to achieve the experience the hotel sells over the internet. The Spa is very small and has a lack of services compared with other Spa-Hotels.||||3. Breakfast.||For the price we spent at Prazer Da Natureza the breakfast is very, very poor, very! The only good thing is the spot, the coffee and the kind-staff that gives welcome every morning, after that, the breakfast it´s not worth the price we paid for the fixed-price-room-breakfast-included.||||No fresh juices at all, ham-cheese-chorizo of the lowest quality, and frozen not-healthy- at-all bakery that converts the breakfast experience into a pretty low quality level thing, compared to other places we´ve been all over the world. ||Fresh juices, healthier products and better qualities will improve this experience, but for now, is not good at all.||||4. Wi-fi:||Not powerfull enough, i came with my family and I had to work for some hours, it was impossible! Very poor wi-fi that didn´t allow me to download medium size files that in the 21st century are so common to work with... I thought this wouldn´t affect me as much as it did... A more powerful signal would make these work-hours easier, finally it was kind a nightmare to not feel the sensation of being conected, even if the place invites you to unplug for some days, there are people like me that needs a couple of hours being connected to my job reality, in Prazer Da Naturaze it doesn´t work at all.||||That´s it, if i had to recommend this place to my loved ones, for now, I´d...
Read moreI do not like to leave low-star reviews, but I was very disappointed with the overall spa experience and wanted to give some tips to anyone visiting the Spa (* see below!).
It is fairly cheap to enter - just 25 for 2 people - but I'd rather pay a little more and get a more luxury experience.
If I was paying to stay at a SPA hotel, I would expect a lot more! The actual sauna and steam rooms are good (jacuzzi is terrible), but this place is aimed more at families with children in summer, so do not expect a serene experience.
Why was I disappointed? No water available inside the spa, which is actually dangerous after heat of a sauna. We had to ask for towels and there is nowhere to leave the wet towels. In fact there was not even a garbage bin in the ladies toilets. The lockers? I've seen better in a council swimming pool. You have to place your clothes on your dirty shoes! No slippers supplied so had to walk around barefoot, outside and inside (this is ok, if we had known to bring our own flip flops) This leaves puddles of water on the wooden floors which had started to damage the floor and cause trip hazards. Terrible jacuzzi - I'm sorry, but such weak jets and luke warm water - you only get 15 minutes, but after 5 my husband and I wanted to leave. I guess it was funny really as we had really looked forward to it, but a fart in a bath is more powerful! Haha. Children, everywhere, of course not adhering to the 'silence' signs. The door to the sauna was opened and closed several times by explorative children while I was in there. God bless them. 🙌. They want fun, I understand, but they were not really helpful in the quest for peace, tranquility and relaxation! Lastly, The massage. Basics were not covered here. I don't want to elaborate as the lady seemed sweet, timid and maybe lacked training or experience. She did do to the best of her ability and she was kind enough to give me a bottle of water from the bar. She is the only reason it's not a 1-star review. But a kind 🙏 note to the spa team: Disney songs and lullabies played by a piano are not considered 'chill out' music to everyone! Especially on repeat, same songs twice over. Omg. Please, Take ear plugs. 🤣
In summary. Possitve: The main reception staff were very helpful and kind. The resort seemed very beautiful, I can't comment on this more, as only checked in for the Spa.

Read moreI've stayed in many different hotels, but this was the first time I stayed in such a new/recent hotel (although I didn't know that when I made the booking).
First, the hotel is located in a great location. City noise is absent and the only sounds you hear are the birds in the morning and the crickets at night. It's about 1 km from the Rio Minho where you can do some beach activities if you're up for that and, as far as I understood, it has partnerships with companies that provide specific activities.
Since the hotel is so new, all of its infrastructures were in great shape, including the rooms we (a group of friends) stayed in. I found no specific flaws with the rooms except for the shower cabin (which was a bit small; the room didn't have a tub). Decoration was fine, the kitchenette has some utilities and the bathroom has the expected toiletries. Another small issue was the bed spreads which many of us felt weren't very comfortable and made a lot of noise. Having a stayed in a Villa, we had a nice porch and two chairs to use if desired.
Regarding breakfast, it didn't completely meet my expectations. We stayed a single night, having left on Sunday. Breakfast is served until 10 am, and we showed up at around 9.15. The offer was sufficient, but I've had better in hotels where I expected less. Eggs, bacon, sausages were scarce (although the eggs were replaced once or twice, but in small doses); milk and coffee were hard to get; the juice wasn't very good. However, there was fruit, some cakes and pastries.
Lastly, the hotel was also equipped with a pool (interior and exterior), gym, spa and squash court. However, the indoor pool was closed (to the disappointment of some friends) and the gym only opened at 9.30. This was disappointing, because I wanted get in an early run. It doesn't make much sense to open so late.
A final note to the staff which was polite and always with a smile on their faces.
Although there is room for improvement, I did enjoy my stay and will be back in the future if the...
