Monte Do Areeiro — Hotel in Coruche

Our stay in Monte do Areeiro was very nice! We visited the place during the Golegã Horse Fair. While the place is not accommodation oriented, you may find yourself embedded in the farming environment and people working on site tend to be easy to talk with. The cottages are big and spacious and have everything needed for a small holiday break! Even that the temperature might drop by evening/night, the fireplace and the heating works very well. During day time, you may discover the property using the electric buggy that is, on schedule, free to ride. While we did not have opportunity, you may also get a horse riding baptism and it is also possible to schedule full horse riding along the hills of the place. Kids also have a playground that is almost made of natural wood and with a lot of traditional games/activities. If I had to point out something that I missed, would be to get in touch with the family that owns the place (they also use the space) and to discover the history of the property/family. After an easy going 50 minutes trip from Lisbon you will find the lovely Monte do Areeiro in the heart of the countryside. ||All houses are well equiped with a suite, bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen. The staff is very friendly, extremely helpfull and you have a wide range of activities without leaving the property.||You can either relax by the pool which has a breathtaking view, go jogging along the several paths there are within the property, ride the horses.||Highly recommend doing the "safari" which is a trip on an open Land Rover along the huge property. We were a large group of adults and children so we rented the 3 houses to spend a few days. It's even better than expected. The houses are heated and all have a fireplace which is fantastic in the winter, the kids walk free by the property as it is very safe and has playground, animals and it's very big.||There's a buggy that you can use to visit the whole farm and this was one of the highlights of our stay as the property is beautiful! ||Claudia that lives there is spectacular and helped in everything we needed including catering service.||Thank you so much Rita, it was a...
