It was our first time in this area and we always prefer to stay in this type of places instead of hotels, it's more cosy, usually we feel more at home and the it's more personal and you can easily connect with other people/families/host and this place met all of the requirements. Carolina is a great hostess, so friendly and happy which is always great. The views from the terrace/pool are amazing, and the room/house had everything that we needed for a family of 4. The place is new, Carolina is always looking for ways to improve it and turn it even better which it's a plus. The breakfast in my opinion is the best option that you can have in this kind of turism and obviously if you care about sustainability and food waste, when we arrive, in the fridge there is already some cheese, ham, great jams, butter, milk and juice, and in the morning Carolina leaves at the door a basket with freshly cooked break and a cake and also a paper with a list of what we want, where we can ask for more quantity of what we really need and scratch what we don't want/eat, this way we only keep what is really important to have a good breakfast on the terrace with a fantastic view. The weather is great, quite hot and the surroundings are fantastic. If you stay here visit the Natural River Beach of Paul, Natural River beach Poço da Broca, Natural River Beach of Loriga and visit Fundão and Covilhã. We also had a great time at "Viriato" Restaurant at Unhais da Serra (need to book) and at "Paço 100 Pressa" Restaurant at Covilhã. Gem of a place! Fantastic for a recharging break. Great for couples or families. Close enough to nearby towns for sightseeing and shopping, but far enough away to enjoy nature and the quiet. Absolutely stunning views of the mountains! The swimming pool and air-conditioning inside the units were the best! The breakfast, tailored to your tastes, and delivered every morning to your doorstep, was the biggest spoil. The room itself had everything we might need for our stay and even included a telescope! Our hostess was extremely friendly and helpful to suggest places to see, eat and explore, even prior to arriving. Been there 9 friends on motorcycle tour.|The place is new, with great salted pool. Katharina welcome us with huge smile that worth all the way we did 🙏. Supermarket is 5 min walk and opened from 7:00-21:00.|The site is well organized, we took 3 rooms. All the rooms are equipped with all the necessary kitchenware , espresso machine and cold beers in the fridge.|We asked to do laundry and immediately they agreed and refused to get any payment....|Katharina managed to book big taxi for all of us, helped us to book excellent local restaurant.|Breakfast was superb!!!
