Estremoz Hotel — Hotel in Estremoz

The hotel offers underground parking for an additional fee, but we found the free outdoor parking perfectly convenient. Our room overlooked the nearby vineyards, providing a lovely and peaceful view. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we appreciated the complimentary water bottles. Breakfast was pleasant, though the experience depends on how busy the hotel is. On our first morning the breakfast room was quiet, and we especially enjoyed the delicious little cupcakes they had that day. The next day, however, it was much busier and a bit less relaxing, having to queue and wait for an opportunity. No restaurant but the bar serves light bites and a few meal options, which worked well for us. There’s also a vending machine with snacks and hot drinks available at any time. The town is also a 5 minute drive from the hotel. We enjoyed spending the evening by the fireplaces and playing billiards, a cozy touch that made our stay even nicer. Overall, it’s a comfortable and charming spot, perfect for a short stay in the town of Estremoz.

Setting: Lovely setting on the outskirts of Estremoz convenient for all routes||Hotel: The hotel is in its own grounds and has a lovely view towards the countryside. The hotel has huge potential to be more than what the review is going to give it. The hotel needs an upgrade and could be great. The bedroom was basic with furniture that needs to be modernised. There was no chair to sit in for reading and no chairs on the balcony to enjoy the views. There was a minibar and a charge of 5 euros for a safe. One pillow per person was supplied as standard. The bathroom tiles in the room we were in need to be replaced. There is an indoor garage for which there is a charge and there is plenty free public parking. There is free WIFI, public phones, bar and restaurant. Hair dryer burnt out, tepid water for the bath that took half an hour to fill up. Dirty carpet. More than half the menu was not available.||Breakfast was stone cold. Milk was off. Water leaking everywhere. However the worst part, because we had laughed all the previous off and just got on with it, was the very grumpy and rude manager on the way out. I queried one item on the bill in a pleasant way because I did not understand, my bad, his mood worsened and then reached fever pitch when my card did not go through. It was a problem with the machine or the way he entered it because when he started to lose it I quietly suggested he tried again because the card was good. He tried another machine and it went through but his mood did not improve! I have loved touring this fantastic country and this is the only bad...
