Casa paradise Areias — Hotel in Ferreira do Zêzere

Remco and companion, Sam, were wonderful hosts for an evening. Casa Paradise is right along the Camino - so convenient! A walking buddy and I were greeted kindly and offered a cup of coffee before I settled in and my buddy moved on to the next town. Remco provided me with insights on exploring the nearby town of Areias and then had a home-cooked meal ready when I arrived back for the evening. We stayed at Casa Paradise with Remco and his lovely dog Sam whilst walking the Caminho. It was great to have a stop over at this distance from Tomar and Remco was a very welcoming host. He cooked us a lovely dinner which we ate on the terrace surrounded by beautiful countryside and olive trees. Great breakfast and coffee too. A great place to spend a night on the Camino. Remco, the host couldn't be more accommodating, as we arrived super late and we're still welcomed in. I recommend including dinner and breakfast if staying at it's really hearty and good value. Warm shower, comfy bed and a night by the fire, what's not to like.
