||||EN: We booked 2 nights in a "large double bed" room (the only option ever available to book) for a romantic getaway to enjoy a peaceful stay in the countryside. When we arrived our bedroom, it was a 2 single bed room. When we opened both beds they were not clean (some hairs were at the sheets, a bit weird and gross). We asked to change for a room like the one that we paid for, but Mr. David, the manager, said that it was not possible, even when other Large Double Bed rooms were available. Mr. David was not a good host at all. He had the opportunity to give us a bedroom like we paid for but he decided not to.||The location is a bit far from everything but good for rest if: you are lucky and have a nice and clean bed, enjoy the hot tub (which was always closed) or the indoor pool with hot water (that was cold and full of teenagers playing and throwing water to the guests). The outdoor pool is a good option (if it was clean, which wasn't the case) and if you bring a sun lounger from your place to lay down. In conclusion, this is a nice place if you like to sleep next to stranger's hairs, separated from your partner, enjoy cold water and no hot tub and you don't really care if there are people doing noise and throwing water to you in a place that is supposed to be a...
Read moreI've been here before, this is my second stay.||They have a swimming pool in case you want the relax in the area inst as of going out.||Very close to Grândola and some 45m away from the coastline.||Please warn the staff well in advance if you'd like to have dinner at their restaurant. If not, there are some good restaurants in Grândola... probably a good idea to book in advance as well though as they are frequently overbooked at meal times. Worts case scenario the local supermarkets will save the day!||The rooms all have internet with pretty decent speeds (40-50Mb/s), yes I tested it.||The rooms will heat up a lot during the day in the summertime and that's the only reason I can't give the place a 5/5. A few hours before going to bed open all doors and windows to let the local air currents cool the room. Shut down all lights to avoid getting mosquitoes in the room when you do this.||Definitely...
Read moreA group of us stayed here as part of a horse riding holiday for 1 night and then a further 2 at the end of the week. I shared accommodation with 1 other. We had a studio style room with a small dining area / kitchenette ,double bed with bathroom off on the ground floor and stairs up to the mezzanine with 2 single beds. No hair dryer but I didn't expect to have one in a hotel rural. The lighting level was a bit low. The setting was lovely, surrounded by cork trees and with a flock of sheep grazing amongst them. The pool was cold but very welcome after a long day in the saddle.||David, our host, was very friendly and willing to assist in any way. His mum makes the cakes & deserts which served at breakfast and dinner - delicious! The food is local and very good and the wine a reasonable price.||Internet signal was available close...
