Every now and then we get to stay at a place that was designed with such thoughtfulness and care that it seems almost perfect. Casa da Benfeitoria Is one of those places. ||The 3 apartments are located inside of a historic restored hewn stone building with gorgeous wooden vaulted ceilings. A comfortable bed, a real kitchen, and a small seating area are inside. The view is gorgeous, the pool heated, and the gardens lovely. ||Silvio is communicative, supportive, and a really nice guy. ||There is so much to do and see in this area. We’ve been traveling all over Portugal, and this is hands down the most beautiful place we’ve stayed. It’s super quiet, the garden is lush and full of life, and everything just feels peaceful. Even though there were other people staying in the house, the layout is so well thought out that we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The pool and private little rest spots make it perfect for spring and summer. And a big shoutout to Silvio—such a thoughtful and kind host.
