An amazing place to go! Everything is super clean and organized, the breakfast has a lot of variety and is always made on the day it self. The hostesses is really friendly. The room I stayed in was large, had a private bathroom with a view to the swimming pool. The garden is well organized, it has a swimming pool, a hammock, a barbecue place, several chairs with tables and a little pond with fish. The location is 40 minutes walking from the center or 5 minutes by car. Leiria it self does not have a lot of activities to do but it compensate with the restaurant it has to offer and super friendly locals. Smoking is only aloud in the garden or outside ir front of the b&b, it is wheelchair accessible but only for one room that is located on the ground floor. The reservation can be done online or through the phone, the payment can be done beforehand or at your last day. I really recommend to go here for a typical Portuguese experience, specially if you live in a big city and want a gateway to a quiet...
Read moreThis small bed and breakfast located just 10min outside of Leiria is a home away from home. The owner is a extremely nice lady who opens her house up to her guest and welcomes them as if they were her long time friends who dropped by for a visit. At driving distance from other areas like Nazare and Fatima I believe its a good compromise and at more affordable price for a nights rest. The house offers several rooms some of which used to belong to owners sons. The house has a pool table in a recreation room downstairs and a swimming pool at the back where you can go for a dip if you feel like it, or should I say if the weather allows you to! Recently a living room wall was revamped and now serves as world map where the guest mark their country of origin. But the best part of your stay is the breakfast. The freshly squeezed juice, the freshly baked bread and sometimes a cake or cream cups("pastel de nata") as a surprise treat make for a warm and fuzzy memory. That...
Read moreThe owner of the house is friendly, but the breakfast has really little choice, there were three boiled eggs and out of fruits. There were only strawberries, and when we ate all the strawberries and three boiled eggs for two people she was complaining about us to the next clients. No tea no coffee machine but the owner was really helpful and found cocoa powder without sugar.there is no air con and when we opened the windows, there were dogs that were barking all the night. In the room, there was nothing except for beds and the bathroom. There were no charging spots, There was only one, there were no hooks to put...
