We stayed one night only for our Macedo trip. Our main destination is Praia Azibo, and was perfect to stay one night there. It is not surprised if they could get a very good review on booking.com and trip advisor because....
Pros: The location is in the city center and easy to find. They provide a private parking lot for some guests to park the cars there. In front of the hotel looks cute with the hanging bicycles. Entering the receptionist table, the man greeted you nicely and friendly. He cleaned again the key before giving to us due to covid19 prevention. The interior design is 1000% beautiful and fabulous. I do love it. Our room is quite big with 1 king size bed and small bed, 1 small TV hanging on the wall, the very-cleaned bathroom and toileteries, a cupboard with a small fridge inside, 24 hours AC. Free breakfast in the morning was so satisfying. The staffs helped us to arrange our food. The natural yougurt was the best. We do like it. The toast was good too with olive oil. I ate a plate of mix cake and was so tasty. For dinner or lunch, you just need to walk a little (probably 5 mins) to find a restaurant near the hotel. Gel to clean hands is there!!!
Cons: nothing
I recommend you to stay in this hotel if you are near Macedo area. I hope you will have a good experience same like us.
Keep the good work, Hotel Muchacho!!! We would like to stay with you again...
Read moreIt wasn't the best start when, after a very long and stressful drive, google maps kept insisting that it was on the wrong side of the road!! When I rang the hotel for directions the girl kept saying " it's purple" - it was dark, it was black!! It's a very stylish looking hotel, lots of design touches. The room was large with a massive en-suite which has a corner whirlpool bath. There is a hand held shower in the bath but no curtain or screen. The window between the room & en-suite has a blind which is pointless as it is see-through with lights on. The bed was large but hard, so much that we both had restless night and awoke with sore hips, shoulders etc. There was a power cut during the night which turned off the heating (outside temperature was -6°c) and turned off my husbands CPAP machine. I'm sure that's not a regular occurrence, just bad luck. There is a car park around the back, street parking opposite is metered. We had dinner in the restaurant over the road which was OK (hotel restaurant not open) Breakfast is included and is plentiful, served by a very friendly person. We stayed for one night on our way to catch the ferry in Santander. It's a shame about the bed (the beds on the ferry were more comfortable) but, to me, it's the most important element of a hotel room - a...
