Quinta do Moínho do Monte — Hotel in Mira

Perfect place to stay with husband, grown up daughter and 2 year old grandson. Breakfast of perfect scrambled eggs, local meat & cheese slices, freshly baked warm bread rolls, coffee & fruit juice provided each day for us to serve ourselves when we got up. Tranquil & beautiful grounds with a large private swimming pool. The little house on the pond had a hidden play room for children inside. "Google translate" app was useful as no English was spoken but really not a problem. Staff very welcoming & lived in the main house so there if we needed anything but apart from doing the breakfast, they left us in private to enjoy our holiday. Very clean & well maintained. The surrounding area was great to explore with very little traffic & friendly people who all seemed to love children. The beach was only a short drive away. Plenty of choice for eating out or takeaway with local supermarkets...
