Nova Alofa, Alojamento Rural — Hotel in Monchique

Es un sitio muy tranquilo, para ir a descansar y desconectar de todo. Ubicado en un valle en plena naturaleza con unas vistas maravillosas y un recinto privado con mucha intimidad. En nuestro caso un punto a favor fue la temperatura que hacía por la noche, ya que dormías muy a gusto con edredón. Destacar que, para llegar vas por una carretera larga con muchas curvas, por lo que se tarda y al ser un valle no hay cobertura en muchos puntos, pero esto no fue un impedimento, e incluso nos gustó estar tan incomunicados. Respecto al covid era todo muy seguro y estaba bien limpio, a parte Loes y Mario se lo tomaban enserio e incluso nos informaron de las restricciones. La zona de la piscina y la barbacoa era muy acogedora, aunque como es lógico no pudimos usar la barbacoa debido al alto riesgo de incendios que había. Los anfitriones fueron muy atentos y generosos (nos ofrecieron huevos y hortalizas de su pequeño huerto), te hacían sentir como en casa, además tenían unos perros y gato muy simpáticos y cariñosos. En definitiva un sitio para desconectar del mundo y descansar como en casa.

It is a very quiet place, to go to rest and disconnect from everything. Located in a valley surrounded by nature with wonderful views and a private area with a lot of privacy. In our case, a point in favor was the temperature that made the night, since you slept very comfortable with a duvet. It should be noted that, to get there, you go along a long road with many curves, so it takes time and since it is a valley there is no coverage in many points, but this was not an impediment, and we even liked being so isolated. Regarding the covid, everything was very safe and very clean, apart from Loes and Mario they took it seriously and even informed us of the restrictions. The pool and barbecue area was very cozy, although of course we could not use the barbecue due to the high risk of fires. The hosts were very attentive and generous (they offered us eggs and vegetables from their little garden), they made you feel at home, they also had very friendly and affectionate dogs and cats. Wanneer je aankomt bij Loes en Mario word je erg warm onthaald. Ze staan enthousiast klaar om je je accommodatie te tonen, die overigens superschoon is. Wij verbleven in de caravan die voorzien is van een erg aangenaam en gezellig overdekt terras, waar het elk moment van de dag fijn zitten, eten, relaxen is. Er is schaduw voldoende en het is er ruim. In de caravan werden we verwend met een inductiekookplaat en alle kook- en eetgerei om lekker een potje te koken, een zalig bed met frisse dekbedden én goede matrassen, een ‘echt’ -brandschoon- toilet, en (als kers op de taart) een airco. Buiten heb je een goedwerkende koelkast, theepot en koffiezet ter beschikking, alsook een fijne -wederom propere- douche (met lekker warm water). Nova Alofa is vlot bereikbaar, en je auto staat onder een degelijk afdak. Verder geniet je op het terrein van een gemeenschappelijk zwembad, dat lekker verkoelt en een leuk rivierterras, waar het zalig yoga doen is. We genoten van mooie wandelingen en stranden in de omgeving. Wat ons verblijf echt tot een vakantie maakte, waren de vriendelijke en toegewijde Loes en Mario.
