Quinta O Ninho — Hotel in Monchique

The BnB has been the best accommodation we have ever been so far. Gerrit was the most welcoming and good hearted person. His BnB offers everything one needs to have a wonderful and unforgettable time in Portugal. Everything was very clean and hygienic. The room was made everyday and Gerrit made sure that we had a relaxing time in his place. Everything was designed with detail - the room was very spacious and decorated charmingly. You will definitely sleep very well in the bed! In the morning, you will wake up to a breathtaking view and to an even more delicious breakfast. The breakfast offered a daily special - our favourites were the yoghurt with fruit and the pancakes! Gerrit makes sure that your tummy is filled with good food before you start exploring Portugal. The pool and the outdoor kitchen were great! Cooking and swimming with an amazing view - what could you possibly want more? The other guests we also really friendly and kind - we spent several nights together (eating dinner together or just finishing the day off with a cold beer or wine). And not to forget: thanks to Gerrit, I found out that I actually love Sangria!;)

This bnb is located high in the hills of the Algarve with breathtaking views all around. It is very well located to visit multiple highlights in the region. ||||Ann en Gerrit give a very warm and personal touch to the stay. The breakfast is outstanding, with variations every day, delicious coffee and a lot of fresh home made products like orange juice, bread, different marmalades, fruit salads with yoghurt, etc. ||The room is lovely renovated, big and cosy. ||||The bed is super comfortable. Probably one of the best beds we ever slept in. The large and modern pool allows for a refreshing splash, with a tasteful and well-equipped outdoor kitchen next to it. ||||Ann en Gerrit are very welcoming and give tips tailored to your personal taste. We stayed in February for a week at Quinta o Ninho. Getting up every day with a beautiful view and a nice breakfast in the spacious and cozy common room or outside on the terrace. Gerrit is very helpful and is happy to help with bookings or information. Room very spacious and fine. The quinta is located in the mountains, so enjoyed the silence.
