Herdade da Maceira is truly a hidden gem that exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, Gisela, Tiago, and their wonderful children welcomed us with open arms, making us feel like part of their family. The warm hospitality, combined with the breathtaking beauty of the surroundings, created a magical experience that we will never forget.

The accommodations were both cozy and thoughtfully designed, reflecting the care and love put into every detail. The serene landscape, complete with hanging chairs under the trees and scenic walking trails, offered a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We were particularly charmed by the adorable dog which added to the homely atmosphere.

What made our stay even more special was the sense of tranquility and connection to nature. The mornings were filled with peaceful silence, and the nights offered stunning views of the stars. It’s a place where time seems to slow down, allowing you to truly relax and recharge.

The meals were delicious, prepared with local ingredients, and enjoyed with a view that made every bite taste even better. Whether you're sitting by the pool, exploring the surrounding trails, or simply unwinding in your beautifully appointed room, Herdade da Maceira offers an experience that’s both unique and deeply rejuvenating.

I came here to stay a few weeks, but in the end I stayed in this wonderful place for 3,5 months. It has been one of the most inspiring places I have visited. The land has magical powers. The view, sunsets, the walks through the valley. And also the beautiful owners, the family, they were great help and support to me. I didn't feel like a guest, I felt like a family member. This place is not the right place if you just wanna go on a holiday and drink alcohol and forget about your normal life. This place is the right place for you if you want to take a deep rest and/or reflect on life. This place is for you if you are in a transformational process, or if you are ready to go into one. In my opinion, that's the magic I have experienced...
