We stayed at the Monte da Estrada back in August for 3 nights. We had a wonderful experience. The staff was lovely, always very helpful and charming. The rooms were simple, new and very clean. The premises are lovely, with a beautiful garden at the front of the house. Breakfast is homemade and some items are cooked only when you arrive at the table, so always very fresh. O monte da Estrada is a very good choice for several reasons: is close to zambujeira do mar, cabo sardao, has a variety of beaches nearby (both crowded and nearly secret ones), and very good restauranta as well.
