Pink House — Hotel in Ponta Delgada

We booked Pink House due to limited availability of lodging in August and were fortunate to be one of the first people to stay there. A barn conversion on a farm near São Miguel, this house is perfect in every way. A 5-minute drive from São Miguel and easy access by car to the highway, the house sits on the owner's property but not too close to their house. The home is spacious and modern (designed by the owner's architect daughter) and breakfast is delivered every morning decorated with flowers from the garden. Pool is availabe as well as firepit and many books on the flora, fauna, art, history and attractions of the Azores. I highly recommend it for an extended stay and hope to return soon! I would recommend it for families although not for toddlers (has a long staircase) since it has 2 bedrooms and two additional single beds, one in an adjoining bedroom and one in the living room. We stayed 5 nights in the studio. Very clean, comfortable bed, good shower. The lavatory outside the toilet room is a plus. The kitchen has everything you need. It has an AC and a dehumidifier. Towels were clean and smelled fresh. The owner was very kind, answer promptly and a lady cleaned our room every day (for us it was a little bit too much). The breakfast was delivered every morning in a beautiful basket with a new flower and the fruits were different. It was very calm and we were able to have breakfast in the garden. A fantastic place to stay in Sao Miguel. The house is located nearby the airport and the city centre. It is very serene with a beautiful garden and a swimming pool. Every morning a tasteful breakfast is delivered in a basket: bread, local cheeses, yoghurt and fruit. A housekeeper comes every day to collect the rubbish and to clean the place.
