Outeiro do Barro — Hotel in Reguengos de Monsaraz

Breakfast room is the best of the property(IMO). Bright with lots of sunlight and overlooking beautiful vineyard. Breakfast is sufficient and with pastries, cakes, jams, cheese and cured meat. Best part is all freshly home made and very tasty.||||The vineyard attached to the property is really beautiful. Room and bathroom is very spacious and clean. Really like all small details like towels and napkins with imprinted property name logo. Patio outside the room overlooking the garden and pool is perfect to relax and read.||||We only stayed there for 1 night and arrived around 5pm so we did not have enough time to enjoy at the patio. Wish we stayed there more than 1 night.||||Value is too good to be true. Stay here and you won't regret. Almost forget, the owner of the property is super friendly and she always hang around reception and breakfast room and makes sure you are happy...

We arrived for one night before continuing and finishing a long journey to the Algarve from Bilbao. We were the only guests that night but Rita made us very welcome and explained about the hilltop village on Monsaraz (about 20 minutes drive away) plus where we could eat for the evening.||||The town of Requeugos de Monsaraz is a short drive away. There are a number of restaurants and some supermarkets. There is also a cooperative wine shop from where we purchased wine.||||Our accommodation was simple, clean and well presented. We took advantage of the extra bedding provided as it was quite cold that night. Breakfast was a delight with views of Monsaraz across the vineyards. The quality of the breakfast was outstanding with fresh products, freshly squeezed juice and homemade cakes. Thoroughly recommend. All round...

A rural tourism lodging of a very very high quality! Very nice people, always available for anything you need... although so discret that seems some fairs are doing the service....||Rooms are litle houses with a room, bathroom and a balcon... Around: orange trees, vineyards, flowers, litle birds.... A gorgeous breakfast with home made bread, cake and litle chicken pies, regional products as cheeses, ham and sausage... Fresh orange juice, tea, herbal teas, milk, chocolate, cores... Breakfast room is nice and cosy... Linen towels and napkins, renewed everyday.... Everything was spotless... A very suitable location to visit around: S. Pedro do Corval, Grutas do Escoural, Vila Viçosa, Évora, Estremoz, Alqueva all at a litle distante with very good roads.... Highly...
