Cerva is a small, rural town. it isn't on one of the main tourist routes and anyone spending time in the area will probably be doing so to visit the national park or the nearby Pena Adventure Park.||||There are apartments and houses to rent and the odd B&B but few hotels worthy of the name. This hotel has a 2* rating but you get a 4* experience because of it's friendly and helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble from arranging taxi transfers to laying on a restaurant quality meal in the evening. They have their own little bar too but be warned, this is rural Portugal and on a couple of evenings we arrived back to find everything had been locked up at 10pm!||||The hotels is small - just 10 rooms - but bright, clean and modern with all of the amenities one expects from a hotel these days. Breakfast is basic but plentiful and the staff were happy to provide us with items not set out for us.||||The hotel is not actually in the town of Cerva but a short distance away on the south side of the River Poio about a 15 minutes walk.||||If you want a clean, comfortable, air-conditioned hotel with outstanding service in this part of Portugal...

The staff are very friendly and will go the extra mile to help in anyway they can. Even driving one guest into town to get some food at midnight when he checked in late. |Rooms are a great size and have everything you would need in any hotel.
