These four cozy and very comfortable rooms / connected cottages, are a great choice for your stay on Pico. There are different styles of rooms, ones with one room/bedroom/kitchen and ones with a separate bedroom. We spent one night in the smallest one (which is quite tiny, especially if you have luggage) and one in a larger one (no seperate bedroom but enough space in the room). ||Their location is beautiful, right in the middle of the wine area just outside the village of Lajido. The cottages / rooms are built in the same distinctive style as much of the village (dark lava-rock with orange doors). The vineyards and lavafields are literally all around the accomodation. The rooms all have large outside sitting areas facing the ocean and Pico mountain. ||The rooms were clean and smelled fresh. They are brightly decorated and come with a fully equipped kitchen (dish washer, coffee maker with coffee and hot chocolate, washing machine). There was a basket with bread, cheese, milk etc to have a good breakfast. Some local ‘green’ wine is even provided, made by the owner. ||The owner Claudio is very kind and friendly. We had a small problem with hot water, which he solved right away and even gave us local liqueur (mint and blackberry flavoured) as an apology. Paraiso do Triangulo is a great accommodation in Pico. The small houses are really quiet at night and the view is amazing. Waking up at dawn offers amazing views of mount Pico right in front. The price is definitely reasonable for the small apartments which are well equipped and cozy. The host Claudio is a very nice person and offers a great welcome basket with amazing products. Absolutely wonderful stay over 3 weeks here. Claudio is an amazing host & can never do enough for you. He's passionate about the island & it shows.
The location is in my opinion the best on the island if you want uninterrupted views, total peace & quiet as well as being close to activities.
The houses are very well equipped especially if you're cooking for yourself.
