Montadinho Houses — Hotel in Santiago do Cacém

We stayed for 4 nights with friends and our 2 dogs. It couldn't have been a better place for us. (there are 3 ((I think)) pats to the accom and we were very fortunate to be the only ones staying there so we had the whole garden and pool to ourselves. It definitely would not have been the same had there been others there especially if they had had dogs too. We stayed in the main house which was great, big living area, dining table etc, great bedrooms, small but good bathroom. The kitchen is tiny and lacking basics like salt and pepper etc but we ate from the BBQ area mostly so... Lovely terrace and sitting area outside and a clean pool (reconfigured irrigation tank) Fab walks from the property and easy access to Sines which tbh was disappointing but that's not the properties fault! Throughly...

We kwamen toe en zagen in de verte de mooie B&B. Toen we aankwamen werden we ongastvriendelijk verwelkomt met de openingszin: 'sorry I don't speak english...' We konden niets vragen. Het ontbijt (zeer weinig...inclusief een hard brood) stond al klaar. Van 'vers' was geen sprake. Met het oude brood moesten we 2 dagen doen... Geen verse handdoeken, spinnen in kasten, niemand die kwam poetsen, geen airco, geen lampjes die branden in het donker,... Kortom we hebben deze b&b allesbehalve goed ervaren. Voor ons is het zeker niet die 8,4...
