This is the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. The building and rooms are the perfect blend between modern and historic. It feels like many things were updated but it didn’t come at the cost of the original charm. The bed is very comfortable (on the firm side which I love), the kitchen appliances work extremely well, and there’s everything you need to cook a meal. The bathroom was clean and the shower pressure strong. There’s an AC unit that works great, although I ended up not using it very much. The farm has an abundance of nature and wonderful trails to walk through. Plenty of plants, insects, birds and other animals to observe and I love that wherever you are on the property you can hear running water from the rivers. The outdoor pool area is something to marvel at. Overall it’s just an unbelievably beautiful space with very friendly and attentive staff. You can tell a lot of hard work and intention is put into restoring and maintaining the land. With a family atmosphere and a team with a lot of professionalism and friendliness, we can find numerous leisure activities: horseback riding, fishing without death (lend the necessary equipment), educational farm, tennis court, bird watching (here cohabit a few dozen Species), holiday camps for children with cultural entertainers and swimming pool. Aparthotel with laundry support, daily cleaning and breakfast included, has several typologies, where there is heating, fireplace, television and telephone and if you want to bring your dog, you will have a kennel available (free). Meals provided by the restaurant are mostly cooked with farm produce. The New Year's Eve party with delicious and plentiful gourmet menu was complemented by music and fireworks and served in old facilities - recovered stables without spoiling the initial moth. Halls capable of serving...
Read moreWe spotted this place driving past and thought that as it was a hotel the food might be better than we’ve had locally until now.||We were the only people dining for lunch. The restaurant was much more basic than expected from the hotel frontage.||I had the pork with potatoes which was tasty but tough and included clams! No mention of clams on the menu. My partner had the chicken salad which he said was tasty.||I ordered creme brûlée which I couldn’t eat! It was like runny soup and tasted of something acidic. My partner had the chocolate mousse which he enjoyed.||It was cheap at about 27 euros...
