RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I booked this place with my husband for 2 nights. We had the worst experience. Main Problem I am pregnant and I asked before making the reservation if the A/C was working fine, and we got the answer that everything was working fine. We arrived after dinner around 11PM and the Loft was melting. We immediately turned on the AC but has it has very bad quality it barely works. The A/C is in the kitchen and there is a Wall dividing the kitchen and the bedroom, so the air could not even get in the bedroom. We had to move the bed to the kitchen. The loft has 2 doors, these 2 doors are made of metal absorbing all the heat making the apartment extremely hot. As in the first day we could not sleep we talked to the owners, and they said that if we did not want to stay for the second night we would have the money back from that night and just pay 1 night. As agreed, we did not sleep there the second night, as I was exhausted and did not want to risk not to sleep one more night. The day after the owners rejected to give us back the night we did not stay, and we were proposed to have back 25% of the stay or a nice bottle of wine or an extra night during the winter when there is no warm weather. They offered 25% if we did not place a bad review. Which we declined, since future clients must know the truth and also because it was not what was agreed. Other Problems The Wi-Fi was not working during the first day, the owners when came to speak with us on the second day could fix it. There is also a bad smell that comes from the kitchen which comes and goes (not the main issue about the loft, but also not nice). When we arrived in the breakfast in the first morning we were told the fruit was finished and that there was only bread. As there were no clients in the cafe we asked if they could make a couple eggs that we could bring from our room if they did not have it, which we did. In the end the owners “accused us” of oblige the cafe employee to make us eggs. After all these problems we ask the complaining book ( livro de reclamações) and they said we had to talk with booking.com as they would not answer us anymore. We called booking, and we were said booking.com is just an intermediate, so they are not responsible for sending it. We emailed the owners' website explaining booking answers, we messaged Andre the manager which now says he only does check-ins (it is not true as he was the main contact during the all stay), we texted the manager and the owners and no answers.
