Casa do Zé - AL — Hotel in Velas

Very damp accommodation. Unlike the other places we stayed on other islands, there was no dehumidifier. This is essential! It smelled really bad when we opened the cupboards. What's more, the windows had to be kept open at all times to try and get rid of the damp. This made it feel very unsafe. The soundproofing was also very poor, and we could hear the neighbours as if they were in the living room. It's a shame, as it has potential, but it's definitely the worst accommodation we've had in...

Eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft! Wir waren in der gelben Wohnung Ende September und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit dort. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und bietet einen schönen Ausblick auf den Pico. Die Lage am Rande von Manadas ist schön ruhig, eignet sich aber wunderbar als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in alle Ecken der Insel. Nach einem Wandertag kann man abends sogar noch zu Fuß zum kleinen Hafen von Manadas gehen und dort Baden :). Darüber hinaus ist die Eigentümerin Rita wirklich sehr, sehr nett und es gibt direkten Familienanschluss zu Ihrer Schwiegermutter und deren Schwester, die als "Crafty Azorean Sisters" sehr nette kleine Näharbeiten herstellen. Insgesamt uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen! ... Ich habe lange gezögert, diese Rezension zu schreiben, damit es ein echter Geheimtip bleibt, aber Rita hat es einfach verdient, mit ihren Ferienwohnungen...
