Guest House Casa da Varanda — Hotel in Viana do Castelo

I loved staying here! She is the best host and made sure I was very comfortable. The accommodation is very nicely decorated, spacious, and really gives you a home away from home feeling. There is a big living room (to share with other guests) and a nice dining room. Furthermore there is a great balcony/terrace with sea view (unfortunately I was quite late in the evening and had to leave early so I didn’t use them, but they looked so cosy). The shower was nice, hot, and gave a lot of water. The towels were so fluffy and the breakfast was great. I will definitely come back to spend my holidays here, for now I continue on the Camino. Absolutely amazing place, by far my best stay in Portugal. The host is a sweetheart, the rooms are beautiful, there’s a sea view from the veranda and many of the rooms, and bathrooms and ACs are all new.
