O Ninho do Rei — Hotel in Vila de Rei

Where to start? I stayed with two lovely friends in August for four nights and on a scale of five stars, I would rate it a six.

Super easy to find and to reach. As soon as you enter, this feeling of relaxation comes over you. The breakfast is so very yummy and even for a huge rugby player there is more than enough! The apartment is cozy and has a lot of eye for detail. Everything is you need is there and more. The area has a lot to offer. From hiking to jumping of twenty meter high bridges to chilling at the lake to just relaxing at the sunrise or sunset in front of your house, with a great private vibe to it as well. The hosts. I have never met such a lovely and friendly couple. They give you all the privacy you need and always show up at the right moment somehow for a piece of advice. Very friendly, very charming.

I would recommend it to everybody. Have a break from your tv, go chill at the lake and relax. I will surely be back and I believe I also already convinced my creators.

Amazing area if you want to experience an authentic part of Portugal. The apartements of O Nino do Rei are very confortable and beautifully restored by Kim and Stephan, very lovely and hospitable couple. We had a very warm welcome and were offered a glass of wine acompanied by olives, some bread and...OMG..the best oliveoil we have ever tasted!! (First harvest ever from their olivetrees...) Waking up with songbirds (singing; “Is dit alles” by Doe Maar 😂)and fresh orange juice from the trees in front of the house...Does life get any better than this? Ray &...

Tivemos uma semana de férias incrível em família no espaço da Kim e do Stephan! Desde que chegámos, eles fizeram-nos sentir extremamente bem-vindos! A casa torre da água é impecável, confortável, com cozinha em excelentes condições para cozinhar e cheia de detalhes pensados com carinho que tornam a estadia memorável.

A localização é perfeita para relaxar, fica a 10min da vila onde encontrámos tudo o que precisávamos. Durante estes dias fizemos uma volta às praias fluviais da região (penedo furado, fernandaires, bostelim e zaboeira) e visitamos o centro geodésico, o Picoto que marca o centro da estrada nacional 2.

A Kim e o Stefan são anfitriões maravilhosos! Sempre gentis, atenciosos e muito acolhedores. Fizeram de tudo para que tivéssemos a melhor experiência possível.

Já é a segunda visita que fazemos e sem dúvida iremos voltar!...
