Zulal: Where Mind Meets Soul, and Every Detail is Pure Perfection||This was my second stay at Zulal — and I have already booked four more visits. That alone should tell you how special this place is. From the moment you arrive, every little detail creates an atmosphere of peace: the serene entrance, the welcome tea, the refreshing towels, the gentle drive to the hotel. It feels like stepping into a sanctuary designed just for you.||The service is what truly makes Zulal magical. Every team member radiates genuine care, attention to detail, and compassion that goes far beyond good service. It feels personal, thoughtful, and full of heart.||At reception, Harihar and Olivia welcomed me with such genuine love for Zulal, giving me a tour filled with detail and passion. Their dedication shows — they give 110 percent, and you can feel it. Ashley, the health advisor, instantly made me feel cared for with a physical check-up to customize my schedule — everything felt tailored just for me.||Sarah’s skin scan was eye-opening, and Yukki’s physiotherapy and posture session were insightful and engaging — both went above and beyond to explain and connect. After the scan, the doctor provided a full set of personalized recommendations, which were also shared with me by email — such a thoughtful detail that makes it easy to continue the journey even after leaving the resort.||Massages with Joy and Nichada were unforgettable — true professionals, with perfect choice of oils and techniques.||The activities were equally special. The clay workshop was creative and grounding. The floating meditation under the stars and the Good Night Ritual with singing bowls were soulful, emotional, and unlike anything else. The imaginative dot painting was mindful and calming.||The spa facilities are simply outstanding: the exquisitely maintained sauna, steam room, salt room, tropical shower, female-only indoor and outdoor pools, and even a snow room that was both refreshing and invigorating. Every detail makes you want to slow down and savor the experience. I loved the infused waters and endless tea selections available throughout the resort.||And speaking of tea — Aung and Islom turn every cup into a ritual. Each sip felt like peace in a teacup.||The food deserves its own applause: gluten-free, lactose-free, sugar-free — yet bursting with flavor and beauty. Every dish feels nourishing and healing. Special thanks to Leshini, Naga, Hassan, Praneeth, and Jerry for their kindness and care in the restaurant, and to all the chefs who pour love into every plate.||The rooms were spotless, cozy, and beautifully designed with every detail thought of — from pillow choices to the serene bath setup.||Zulal isn’t just a resort. It is a complete soulful experience for body, mind, and spirit. If you want active nightlife or a beach party, this isn’t the place for you. But if you are seeking mindfulness, slow living, healing, and serenity, Zulal is a true gem in the north of Qatar. I will definitely be coming back again and again. Thank you, Zulal team, for making me feel so cared for and at peace.||Restaurants at Zulal||Aizoon – The food here is simply outstanding. The lamb chops are the best I have ever had, and the cauliflower and avocado hummus are next level — creamy, flavorful, unforgettable. What makes it shine even more is the team: Natalia, whose passion for the place is contagious; Naga, who knows the entire menu down to the calories and health benefits; Fahad, who went out of his way to arrange a special meal; Manager Douaa and Rose, ensuring everything runs perfectly; and Chef Mohit and his team, the true stars behind every dish. Warm hospitality and exceptional food make Aizoon dining at its best.||Acacia – An absolute gem and one of my personal favorites. Every dish is perfection — creative, flavorful, and worthy of a Michelin star. Chef Sukesh and his team craft food with artistry and care. The service is just as memorable: Leshini and Jade are consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. This restaurant has set a new standard for me — I will keep coming back again and again.||Sidr – A place where flavor meets outstanding service. The food is prepared with such care that every dish feels perfect. The team makes dining here a joy: Budmea, Praneet, and Hassan, with Chef Geena and her talented kitchen team, who are simply beyond expectations. Sidr is not just dining, it is an experience.||In short: Zulal isn’t just a stay — it is a journey of peace, healing, and unforgettable flavors. A true sanctuary that I am proud to call my...
Read moreI would like to begin by thanking the whole team and providing a truly relaxing and amazing experience!
The serene entrance, the welcome tea, the wet towels, the drive to the hotel—all of these elements created the ideal atmosphere.
Every employee provided genuine compassion and attention to detail, making the service outstanding!
At reception, Harihar and Olivia gave me a tour of the resort which was with so much attention to detail and genuine love to Zulal.
After that, Ashley, the health advisor, conducted a general physical to determine my preferences and make a customised schedule. I was made to feel really welcome and cared for right away!
It's genuine assistance backed by in-depth understanding of products, therapies, and the philosophy underlying every little aspect, not just courteous service with a smile. They constantly go above and beyond because they are willing to assist, share, and make your stay genuinely remarkable. It's outstanding and greatly valued! Makes you feel special every time!
Sarah's skin scan (VISIA facial imaging evaluation) was enlightening and exciting. Yukki's physiotherapy and posture session was insightful and useful. Again, both went above and beyond to explain and interact and engage with all the questions!
As for the massage - I still feel the love and thanks for their hands from the first day with Joy and the second day with Nichada. They are truly professionals of their technique, and the choice of oils - was just perfect!
The activities were amazing, and the massages were truly remarkable. The imaginative dot painting was peaceful and mindful.
The floating meditation—actually floating under the stars while receiving guided meditation—was one of the most memorable aspects. Emotional, incredibly soothing, and genuinely one-of-a-kind!
Additionally, the Zulal Good Night Ritual with singing bowls was a unique and enchanting experience for those who appreciate sound healing.
Another highlight was the spa's exquisitely kept and incredibly calming sauna, steam room, salt room, and tropical shower room with pools indoor and outdoor that are female only. Fantastic. The fruit and vegetables infused water everywhere makes you feel refreshed and the tea options are endless.
The rooms and shared spaces were spotless, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly calming.
The hotel room was very cozy and beautiful and clean! With all the amenities that are needed! With choices of pillows and bath tub and shower room - very beautiful!
And then there’s the TEA…tea…tea! Each cup felt like a peaceful ritual, thanks to the passion and knowledge of the tea experts Aung and Islom.
Finally, the food truly deserves its own serenade: gluten-free, lactose-free, refined sugar-free — yet every dish was delicious, nourishing, and beautifully presented. The tea selections paired perfectly with every meal.
Special thank you to the wonderful team who made my stay so special:
✨ Leshini, Naga, and Hassan at the restaurant — always kind and attentive ✨ Praneeth (assistant manager) ✨ Jerry (restaurant supervisor) ✨ Harihar and Olivia at reception ✨ Ashley (health advisor)

Read more(The resort’s booking website advertised a package as including a “health & wellness consultation,” “personalised wellness programs,” body analyses, skin imaging, a wellness minibar, among other services. However, we only received three basic meals and one standard massage per day, with none of the advertised wellness features provided. The offerings were misrepresented).||||The wellness resort offers two packages. The first package includes three daily meals and a basic massage (without any treatments or health evaluations). The second, more expensive package includes therapeutic treatments and health assessments.||||We arrived at the resort after a very long journey from Doha Airport, as the resort is approximately an hour and a half away, with most of the drive through exhausting desert roads (I recommend renting a comfortable car).||||The resort appears well-equipped and comprehensive, but the lack of expertise and extremely weak management make the experience underwhelming. All staff members try to be friendly—you’ll hear "hello" over a hundred times a day as you pass by—but when you actually need assistance, they lack the competence and quality required. Upon arrival, you’ll face neglect most of the time, with your requests or inquiries going unanswered.||||Daily group classes are often fully booked, and the locations of sessions are constantly changed, making it difficult to secure a spot or join any activity. The process of searching and booking is exhausting.||||There are frequent delays and a lack of punctuality for massages or treatments. For example, you might book a massage for 8:00 PM but end up waiting until 9:00 PM.||||My wife and I had a session with the specialist, but she provided no evaluation, treatment, or even dietary advice. Instead, she spent time talking about herself and her background in South Africa, then gave generic advice like "sleep early, eat healthy, and exercise." After the session, she promised a follow-up appointment but never returned.||||No therapeutic or dietary program was created for us during our stay, nor were we informed about available treatments or resort facilities. The place feels like a four-star hotel offering three daily meals and an unprofessional massage—therapists play calming music from their phones via YouTube and perform basic massages.||||There are only two restaurants in the resort. One is excellent but requires advance booking. Overall, the menus are limited and lack variety. While healthy options are available, the service is understaffed and slow. The food experience falls below four-star standards.||||The resort charges 1,000 Qatari Riyals for airport transfers, which is excessive. When I requested a regular taxi from the duty manager, Mr. Mahdi, a day before departure, he refused, claiming the hotel wouldn’t take responsibility for delays or issues. After arguing that the resort should handle this as guests, they finally booked a regular taxi for 200 QAR.||||I tried multiple times to contact the manager to discuss observations and issues during our stay, but to no avail.||||Staff members in general lack hospitality skills. I strongly advise the resort to provide intensive training programs instead of robotic greetings, and to recruit qualified personnel from the parent company in Thailand or India.||||Based on visits to wellness resorts worldwide, Zulal Wellness Resort does not live up to a five-star standard. It feels closer to a regular four-star resort and is not worth the highly...
