Pensiunea Martuca — Hotel in Șișești

Lovely pension with a great feel for the authentic: yards and properties in Maramureș seldom have any fences to separate them from the neighbours', which makes for a very picturesque panorama with its green meadows, mellow hills, wooded inclines and great number of haystacks.

The pension is kept by Marta and Gheorghe, two very engaged folks who want to make sure that you get a nice, cozy stay. The dog is literally toothless of old age and is great fun to pet and play with. Outdoors terrace, indoor common room. The rooms are spacious and look nice, with roomy bathrooms and ample beds.

We only stayed one night but our hosts made us feel so welcome. Great balcony's to sit and eat wonderful food prepared in the house from the garden. The honey came from an uncle down the road. if you wish you can self cater as there is a large kitchen area which is good for groups, can be noisy though if you are...
