Hotel Restaurant Popasul Regelui — Hotel in Șugag

You gotta get here, Hotel Popasul Regelui is a dream location with views drawn from the story with young employees who are always smiling who can make you feel good, with delicious food and always fresh, great music and last but not least perfect cleaning. I have celebrated my husband's birthday and with the help of the staff I managed to prepare some surprises, everything was great. Continental breakfast is very good and consistent, you can choose from 4 different ways, we took two different things that we have always divided. The menus contain: sausages, great cheese, omelette, eggs, red eggs, very good soups, jam and butter, delicious coffee, cappuccino or tea. The food is very good we tried gulas of calves, belly and couscous, pork breast with some baked peppers in wonderful vinegar, deer sheep pastry and papanasi. Upstairs there is a sauna with two very nice jacuzzi, downstairs is a shop with everything and you can rent atv here. Take the Transalpina to see beautiful scenery and have objectives : Oasa Lake, Oasa Monastery, Iezerul Sureanu, Urdele pass on Transalpina is the highest point of the road, Peak Sureanu, Meadows Prigoanei Peak of Four, Sebes Valley and Lake Tau Bistra . Nice place on the way from Sebes to Tranalpina, or vice-versa. We dit it from Transalpina to Sebes and way back home to Brasov, my city. Very, very nice and sweet place to have a break and coffee or a meal, or stop and have a room for the rest of the day. It's really ok.Terrace, restaurant and hotel in a fantastic landscape. So, even if you're not hungry, you still need to eat here 😉 the food is extremely generous. Delicios. The staff is sweet and polite. The view is memorable. Papanaș is really well done, tasteful, you can see in the picture that the dough is done really well and has limon zest. I really liked it here and I'm so happy to have stopped here to have lunch. We haven't slept here for the night, we were just passing by and saw the terrace and the hotel so we stopped to eat because we we're famished.
