Elisabeta — Hotel in Alba Iulia

Honestly, I don't know where to begin! Vila Elisabeta is by far, the worst place where I ever stayed. The rooms are dirty, mold on the walls, broken toilets, unsafe wires are hanging from the lamps. The price for the room applies to a 4-star hotel, but this one should not even have a license to function. In our room it was never vacuumed under the beds, the wire from the lamp was pulled out and left hanging which is definitely a safety hazard, everything in the bathroom was falling apart, I tried to hang a towel and the bar fell on the floor. I should mention this was the room we got after we complained about the first one that had mold on the walls, broken toilet and one of the beds was missing a leg so they put 3 bricks underneath. All that being said about rooms, I will continue with public amenities... The outdoor pool was dirty, a lot of hair, insects etc. They advertise "sauna, indoor pool, fitness" - the sauna is not working, the fitness room is a dark and small room that has a big fitness ball, a ridiculously small treadmill and some weights and the indoor pool is beyond disgusting - the water is dirty beyond imagination and everything around is covered with black mold - huge health hazard!||The restaurant - all personnel is new, very young and clueless - it took 1 hour to get a lemonade and 2 hours to get the food we ordered, without any exaggeration!||Breakfast is on the house, pretty lame, the yogurt they served expired in April and we stayed there in August!||Check-out - it took 90 minutes to finalize it||Clearly the owners of this place have no idea how Travel Industry works! By all means, please stay away...

Nu prea las recenzii, însă am ales să o fac de data aceasta, din dorința de a avertiza cumva viitorii oaspeți ai acestei locații, pe care o poți numi cu greu “hotel”. Am ales să ne cazăm, eu și colegul meu, în interes de serviciu și urma să petrecem acolo 7 nopți. Am ajuns spre seară să facem check-in. Părea OK ca și locație, relativ izolat, deci cu siguranță urma să avem parte de un mediu liniștit. Întâmpinarea a fost așa și-așa, angajata de la recepție ne-a informat ca micul dejun se servește la ora 07:30, dar nu e nicio problemă dacă vom veni mai devreme, ca putem liniștiți să servim o cafea până e gata micul dejun. Toate bune și frumoase, pornim spre camere. Primul impact a fost când am observat ușile larg deschise de la toate camerele încă neocupate. Am intrat, am încuiat ușa, am mers la duș. Igiena de-a dreptul inexistentă, praf peste tot, dar am zis ca asta e, fac un duș rapid și mă pun la somn. Lenjeria de pat părea în ordine, într-un final am și adormit deși aveam impresia ca nu m-am spălat în seara aia. Pe la ora 04:30 încep sa se audă. Să se audă sunete ciudate. Pentru o secundă m-am gândit ca se aud șoareci, dar mi-am șters rapid din cap acest gând. Eram convinsă ca așa ceva nu ar fi posibil. Nu am mai adormit, se auzea în continuare… Am decis pe la 6 să mă dau jos din pat, să mă spăl și să strâng absolut totul, gândindu-mă să vorbesc cu colegul meu să căutăm totuși altă cazare, deoarece nu aș putea să stau acolo încă 6 nopți. Am mers la recepție, era un domn bătrânel acolo, care mi-a zis sec ca trebuie să aștept până la 07:00 să beau o cafea (era 06:45), deși automatul era lângă el și aș fi putut primi fără probleme cafeaua. Asta e, am zis, aștept. S-a făcut ora 07:00, a apărut o angajată plictisită (alta față de cea din seara precedentă) și am primit și cafeaua pe care a trebuit să o plătesc, ca nu era cea de la mic dejun. În fine, am fost fericită ca pot să beau o cafeluță. Am ieșit pe așa-zisa terasă. După câteva minute, apare colegul meu cu trollerul după el. Atunci am înțeles. Sigur suntem de aceeași părere. După care mă întreabă: “Dar ce, tu nu i-ai văzut?”. Exact, se referea la șoriceii din camere. Am mers la recepție să predăm cheile camerelor, apăruse și un domn care părea să fie ori proprietar, ori administrator, ceva de genul. Îi prezentăm situația, îi spunem ca vrem să facem check-out. Reacția a fost: “Deja au apărut?”. Pe bune? Asta e tot? E normal? Dumnezeule mare! Nici măcar “Ne pare rău?”? Dragi viitori oaspeți, știu ca am scris mult, dar mi-aș dori să aveți răbdare și să citiți ce am scris. Căutați cazare în oricare altă locație. Am stat în o multitudine de orașe, de hoteluri, de pensiuni. Așa ceva nu am văzut niciodată! Așadar, cu toată inima, vă recomand să nici nu vă gândiți să ajungeți pe...

I liked this place and will stay again. Yes the walls are thin and I could hear somebody snoring. Never did figure out how to work the telly. They shower head was tricky to get a correct angle for showering. The free breakfast would not win awards but I found enough to satisfy me. That's the bad stuff. |My double room was large, clean and simply furnished. The shower gave out plenty of hot water. Tried lunch there - chicken soup was nice, followed by a plate of mashed polenta, braised cabbage mix and a delicious big sausage. All good and with two tea's it came to about £6. The hotel is set back far from the main road so is very peaceful. I enjoyed sitting on the front patio, catching rays and watching the birdlife. There is a pleasant view of the distant hills and forest. I would come here again. Useful tip, bring some tea bags if you like a standard cuppa as they only...
