Poiana Verde — Hotel in Albac

Not easy to say something about this location only in a few words. This house grew up in our eyes.....and, with your indulgence, I will try to put in here a little bit from our soul. We have first time reached this beautiful village on summer time, 2004. We have had not secured accommodation, not so many locations that time, but, the only place we were in loved to stay was Ana & Tibi house and they have welcomed us in.||We spent in here the most beautiful, peacefull and interesting holiday.||We never found people, landscapes, food and traditions like in Apuseni Mountains.||And than, in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2011 we came back here together with friends and relatives. Between 2005 and 2007 still in their own house and than, in 2009 and 2011 in new 4* pension, "Poiana Verde".||Awesome landscape, great hostess, excellent accommodation and very delicious food ( not at least, a big range of tasty forest-fruits - raspberry, blackberries, cranberries - goodies which you can find only in the pureness of Apuseni Mountains).||The rooma are nice and simple furnitured, really comfortable and very, very clean.||The restaurant and terrace are nice as well and the food prepared by the Apuseni women is probably the most amazing and authentic traditional food we ever had.||It would be a fantastic choice to any traveller from this world who loves the very warmhearted hospitality and the uniqie nature's landscape to join this beautiful place and I wholeheartedly...

Poiana Verde will remain in our memory for long time.We traveled for 2 weeks ,3.000km in Romania,we saw a lot of things, but we left our heart in Poiana Verde!The hospitality we experienced was remarkable,the intimacy we developed with Mrs Anna-although she does not speak even one word in English-unforgettable.She is one of a kind!We tasted the best Romanian dishes and although located in a countryside village,the cooks were in white uniforms and wear cook caps!The quantity and quality of the dishes we didn't experienced anywhere else in Romania-we drank also a lot of excellent palinka! The breakfast contained a big variety of hand made delicacies and fruits of the forest.The garden patch of the pension is so nice, that we even saw a just married couple using it for their outdoor wedding photos .The landscape where the pension is located is very nice and green and the rooms have traditional decoration and are very comfortable.We are very happy that we discovered that place,and Iulian and Doina who helped us with the communication and showed us around the wonderful places of Apuseni mountains.Thank...

We returned to this magic place, to spend the New Year's Eve, and i must say that all of my friends felt that could not have been better anywere else. We stayed 3 nights and the peacefullness of the place filled our souls. The food is amazing, full of flavours and made from fresh ingredients from own sources.
