Steaua Arieșului — Hotel in Albac

I decided to have my wedding in the mountains of Romania - and was lucky enough to book this venue for an intimate ceremony and party. The host was amazingly accommodating and enabled us to have the wedding of our dreams. The venue has multiple properties for hosting tourists/groups as well as a variety of accommodations like a pool, a big restaurant, playgrounds, etc. We were able to take great photos and have multiple pieces of the ceremony, including vows and the reception on-site. I left the menu more or less in their hands, knowing how good the food is and it didn’t disappoint! Everything was fresh and plentiful and the servers were on point! They made the experience seamless. The restaurant accommodated the band, the guests, dancing and entertainment and most guests were hosted in the same building, so it was easy to move between the reception and their rooms, as needed. The rooms themselves were clean, tidy, roomy and great for the location! They weren’t the Ritz, but nothing is over there - I would def say they were mountain-luxe:)

It really felt like being among family and friends, and not just because it was my wedding :) Everyone came together to ensure things run smoothly! I recently returned and had dinner in their new and improved restaurant (it is bigger and even better than it was before!) and the food was great once again. Thanks for everything and keep up...

We booked for 4 nights stay with breakfast and dinner included. The location is very nice, we had our room in the villa on the hill (it's near the central building). The room was clean, our balcony was towards the hill and the forest. A great location to get away from the city. Quiet, clean and nice. As for the food: AMAZING! Traditional Romanian breakfast :))))))))) and at dinner time you could chose from a variety of soups and the main course consists of sarmale, mici, snitel and other traditional Romanian stuff. (if you are brave enough you can always ask for a refill but man you are going to suffer). Prepare your stomach and liver! :)))) Our experience was great. The area is full of mountain biking possibilities (me and my wife did some amazing trips - not easy but amazing), hiking and in the summer the pool and the new area across the road are just great. One thing for the owner: a secure room for bike storage would be great but I know that if there is no demand for this it makes no sense to build it. But for the future who knows! Keep up de great work people! P.S: they are expanding the restaurant and they will build a nice pavilion that will welcomed you...

I visited this hotel last weekend.|The hotel has an excelent position, just near the main road in the area, it also has pool, jacuzzi, sauna and massage.|The rooms are very big, I had the biggest room, just above the pool, and I reccomend it if it is available when you check in; they are very clean, with flat tv. This room also has a very large terrace.|The pool is not the biggest, but you have free acces to it and also free jacuzzi. The water in the pool is not very deep, so you can relax even if you can't swim, if you are at least 1,6 m tall. Water in the pool is very clean, and it has the perfect temperature to swim and relax in it.|The restaurant is ok, the food is very good, most of the food is romanian traditional food.|The staff is very friendly, and it offers very good customer service, it seemed to me like I knew the hotel's administrator for my entire life.|So, when you are in this area, Steaua Ariesului is the one of the best places to stay in...
