Păstrăvăria Brătioara — Hotel in Albeștii de Muscel

The whole experience left a bitter taste. We waited around 15 minutes and had to waive someone down to be greeted and have a chance to order. Then, we proceeded to wait for about 1.5 hours for our food. My friend order the grilled trout, their specialty, and I ordered the sheep pastrami. When we finally got our food, the fish was very overcooked and the sheep meat was very hard and chewy. We barely touched our food and asked for the bill. We then had to wait another 20 minutes as their POS was not working. The waitress was very sweet and we felt bad for the situation she was in, but we would never return and do not recommend this place.

Additionally, you need to drive through an unpaved country road for about 10 minutes to get there, it was so dusty we couldn't even see through the windows afterwards. This would not have mattered at all if the experience was any good, but the effort was...

This is our second time here for a long weekend, it is exceptional in every way. In fact, we found it to be better than our first time last year, maybe thanks to the health measures. The staff is very attentive and patient, all are well equipped for corona prevention measures and they are minding ALL regulations.
