Papillon Elite — Hotel in Albota

I've been looking for a place near Pitesti that isn't in the middle of the city, simply looking for a quiet place. And after some research, I've found this brand new place (opened in the begining of 2014) that was a very nice surprise.||Situated just outside the city, it is on the road to Craiova, with very easy access to the A1 motorway which is only about 5 minutes away by car. The hotel was quite empty, but hope they will solve that. This is probably the best price/quality ratio hotel that I've ever been in, with very low room prices, but good quality bedrooms. Wifi signal was great and it's free, rooms are clean, and since it's a new hotel, everything shines and even smells new! Parking is more than enough and is supervised.||||The restaurant is the best I've eaten in Pitesti. You can feel they try to deliver something new, other than what is available in the area. Breakfast was excellent, and staff was kind. I was honestly tricked into excellent traveller reviews on different channels and chose this place for an overnight stay.||The service is terrible, rarely you can find someone at the reception desk or in the restaurant/bar and when you do, you always feel you are intruding. The food was poor quality and insufficient, breakfast can easily stay in my top 5 worst and the food prices are ridiculous for the offering. ||The room was acceptable but it needs a proper cleaning. This is a recently completed (2015) hotel with very nicely appointed rooms and a great breakfast. They just finished a nice outdoor pool and terrace (july 2016) which was great to unwind at at the end of a few hours drive on the Transfagarasan road (spectacular). The owner of the hotel is super nice and the front staff speak pretty good english. As mentioned rooms are quite new and very clean.
