Hotel Iris Arad — Hotel in Arad

It was a very huge mistake to sleep in this, so called, hotel. The first room - room no 9 - was very small and full of very bad smell. It was changed with room no 7. The room was a little bit better but the bathroom was also with bad smell. Some of the details are in the attached photos. The view was also amazing. If you let the windows open, the noise is huge. The toilet paper was very hard to use because the owner was thinking only to the employees noy to steal the toilet paper.When I try to use it, this was broken in small pieces. The breakfast was included. Starting on 7.30 a.m. We were there arround 8.50 - 9.10 a.m. The omelette was freezing. The cremwursts were also almost cold. All the salamis were at the room temperature and ... no comment... The only good thing at the breakfast was the coffee and the man who was prepare it - respect! One friend of us was sleeping in the room no 26. He, his wife and the 9 yrs girl were freezing in that room. The bed sheets look like were not well washed. The minibar was empty in both rooms.

BTW: It is possible that the 5 stars review to come from the friends of the owner!!!

Recomendation: avoid this place! Or you can use it only if you need a room for an hour.

After all, the owner found it appropriate to approach me and tell me that I was wrong on choosing the hotel or that I wanted to pay less... 🤣🤣🤣

Not dear owner ... I just wanted for the money I gave you to have clean sheets, the bathroom without horrible smells, the omelette warm for the breakfast, and meats and cheeses - kept properly in a cold place. Not at the room temperature!!!

The double room is spacious enough to fit two baby cribs and the walls are sufficiently insulated to offer a quiet stay. However, the door and windows do not provide adequate sound proofing so you'll be able to hear hallway chatter and passers by will be able to hear you. Ongoing traffic is audible (although not disturbingly loud) while the dusty curtains fail to fully cover the width of the windows letting in the light from the street lamps.||||The shower drain was clogged and broken so water would fill the shower tray and also leak outside from underneath. The smoke detector in the room still had the protective plastic cover on.||||The breakfast selection is terrible so unless you have an urge for a boiled egg or a coffee, you can safely skip it. Besides, the restaurant staff had more of a decorative purpose than anything else. Speaking of personnel, the night shift reception staff would smoke right in front of the main entrance.||||Outside the building, parking is far from private as it's between the walkway and the street and inside the building you will find there are no ramps and no elevator so be prepared to carry your bags.||||If you find yourself in a hurry and on a budget, you get decent accommodation, close to the highway, for a relatively cheep price so it might be a good deal for...

Very dissapointed! First of all the room was not clean - some examples: the sheets, the bathroom (toilet, shower) and the towels. Secondly there was the money they told via phone a room costs and the money they asked for when I arrived there. The amount was double! This is not acceptable! During the night I asked a bottle of water at the room temperature and the staff told me they cannot give it to me, only cold water, even if they had a full bax of bottles near the desk. Cannot describe the breakfast ..... poor, you did not had any choice, they were bringing what they wanted - eggs and water. Also, when I asked for the breakfast hours, they told me one schedule, but next morning they modified it. And maybe the most important thing, I visited the city during the day and when I got back the bottle of water was missing from my room. I strongly do not...
