Lunca — Hotel in Arad

Pensiunea Lunca is located on the Mures River side outside of Arad, next to the National Park, to get to this place you must drive thru the park for couple kilometers.||If you do not have a car than is not easy to get to this place, but if you have the extra couple kilometers off the town will worth every penny.||First the place looks like new. My room had a small balcony with a wonderful view to the country side, on the other side is the Mures river, this place is right next to it. The room had a shower, water was running hot at 3 am without problems. The bed was large, very comfortable, everything was looking like new, definitively the house keeping team is doing a good job here. ||The TV in the room was a LCD with VGA port for my laptop, the room had a nice table, chair etc. ||Downstairs there is a bar that can provide you beer or coffee, however there is no breakfast even if you wist to pay for it. ||In front of the place there is a small pond with fish, kids will like it. ||I paid 25$ for only one night, definitely 100% worth it, i will visit again when i will be in...

I've stayed there with my family when passing through Arad, for one night.|Even though we were told that they have heating through the floor, that didn't exist and the "heating" was made through air conditioning machines, blocked to 20 degrees celsius, that were making a terrible noise.|When I asked the receptioninst to increase the temperature because we had a 4 months kid, he claimed that he doesn't have the remote control, so we practically froze during the night.|Don't think about taking a shower, there were probably 10 degrees in the bathroom, and installations looked poor and rusty.|The walls are probably made of carton, since I could hear absolutely any sound from the nearby...

This is probably one of the most peaceful places I have ever stayed in. Rooms are a little bit tight but trust me it's worth it. You have the Mures river in the back ideal for fishing. A Koi pond in the front which is nice. A island right next to it with a small peaceful village. A restaurant ideal for families and couples. Just don't ask for fried eggs they might come out a little bit burned. |It's a little peace of heaven on a plateau of forgotten land. |The staff was helpful.
