Transfagarasan . — Hotel in Arefu

Things to take in consideration: In the morning and after 18:00 the bearS go out! The road is crouded due to the lack of parking space (5 Ron/hour if you are lucky). Alternative is to take the cable car 9AM to 17 PM from Balea Cabina (1300m altitude) to Balea Lake (2034m altitude). Crouded as well and 100 Ron (according to the website- I did not check) for go and back. If you go by car to Balea Lake, expect to wait between 40 min and 1,5h in traffic to arrive at Balea Lake. TIPS: see how many cars are descending from Balea to cable car and if there are few or none means there are NO parking space at the lake! So... find a space across the road and go by foot! The landscape is astonishing. At the lake prepare for a walk on the top (stony land, no shade!) if you want to see more, or at least go around the lake. You have restaurantes and shops with inflated prices (10 Ron for 0.5L water) and NO natural place to go for toilette🤭! So, take a place at the restauant and enjoy the view. 1'. If you come by morning or leave after 6PM, expect to meet sheep and bears🐑🐏🐻. Don't feed them!!! Don't go out from the car!!! It may look nice, friendley but still, they are...

Daca esti in cautarea unui loc de camping pe Transfagarasan unde sa te simti ca in gradina din spatele casei tale, acesta e locul potrivit.

Sunt pretentios si exigent cand ofer note la recenzii, asa ca nu am gasit nimic care sa ma faca sa scad punctajul in afara unei observatii pe care as dori sa i-o transmit proprietarului, ar prinde bine pe viitor.

1 *: Curatenie la modul absolut. Zona e deosebit de curata, fara hartii, chistoace de tigare sau pet-uri.

2 **: toatele curate si dus cu apa calda. Am apreciat in mod deosebit temperatura constanta a apei calde de la dus, nici rece nici fierbinte si nici cu variatii, ci exact cum trebuie sa fie o apa calda. Tot respectul!

3 *: preturi competitive atat pentru camping cat si pentru produsele pe care le vinde restaurantul cu terasa al campingului.

4 **: zona de camping. Poti alege sa campezi pe malul Caprei, langa strada pe terenul perfect plat, sau peste strada intre brazi, daca vrei putina intimitate. Mi-a placut terenul!

5 *: gazda, care a fost deschisa, prietenoasa si cooperanta.

S-au adunat in total 5 * stele, maxim, atat eu cat si colegii mei am fost multumiti de conditii, peisaj, gazda.

Pe final , observatia : ar fi bine daca masinile din interiorul terenului de camping ar fi parcate la strada sau cel putin in rand la marginea terenului de camping, daca fiecare parcheaza masina langa cort se va ocupa teren disponibil pentru pus cortul, in plus, e afectata si iarba de rotile masinii.

V-am promis ca revin cu recenzie, ceea ce am si facut :), v-am promis de asemenea ca voi/vom reveni acolo ceea ce si vom face.

Va multumim si sa ne revedem cu bine si sanatosi!

P.S: poza e cu terenul dintre brazi, exista si un teren vis-a-vis asemanator unui...

Before this my feedback I have read other reviews. Some travellers missed here hot water, showers, etc... Funny people... In fact there is not real camping, it is place to stay and rest one night. And for the unbelievable 10 lei price/person, you get there safe place with possibility to connect to electricity, drinking water, good condition clean toilets, outdoor tables and benches and fantastic surroundings with fresh air!
